What are the event details?
Where: Bandelier Elementary School, 3309 Pershing SE, 87106
When: Saturday, Nov. 18 from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
What kind of items are accepted for sale at the Bazaar?
The Bazaar has always featured items hand-made by local artists and crafters.
The Bazaar is not a juried show. Spaces are generally assigned on a first-come, first-served basis, although we do try to limit excessive duplication of item types.
Home-based business franchises are not accepted as vendors in this event (i.e., Scentsy, Pampered Chef, etc.)
Where are the booths located and what size are they?
We can accommodate approximately 50 vendors in the Gym and Cafeteria; there are 40+ spaces outside in the area connecting the Cafeteria and Gym.
All booth spaces – inside and outside - are roughly 60 square feet, usually 8’ x 8’ square but some may be more rectangular – 7’ x 9’ or 6’ x 10’ - to fit the space.
What is the cost?
SKINNY Indoor booth - only 4 ft x 8 ft - $30
Outdoor booth - $25
Indoor booth with Donation discount (for vendors who ALREADY DONATED* an item last year for the Spring 2023 Art Auction) - $20
Outdoor booth with Donation discount (for vendors who ALREADY DONATED* an item last year for the Spring 2023 Art Auction) - $15
Former BandaBear (current middle or high school student) indoor or outdoor booth - $10

How will I know if my application and payment was received?
You should receive an automated "thank you" message from the app we use to accept your application and payment (jotform). It might go to your junk/spam folder, so please check there if you haven't seen the message.
We'll also send a message from our email account (bandelierbazaar@gmail.com) verifying your reservation as soon as we can - we all have day jobs so please be patient! You can always email us directly and ask for verification.
Will there be power available in my booth?
Electrical outlets are limited and must be pre-arranged. Please make sure you request this in the "Special requests" section of the application. If you request in time, we will confirm that a power outlet will be available when we send your booth number.
If you arrange for electricity you must bring your own power strip with a LONG cord – you may not piggyback multiple power strips. Cords cannot cross walkways or be a tripping hazard.
Is there wifi available?
APS has a Guest wifi network in schools, but it is focused in classroom spaces so is not strong or reliable in the Cafeteria or Gym. If you need wifi for a payment app, it is recommended that you plan to use your personal hotspot.
What should I bring?
Your craft items, your own table or other display surfaces to fit in the 60 sq.ft. space, and chair(s).
If you are bringing a pop-up tent / shelter, please be sure to bring weights or sandbags to secure the tent / shelter.
What are the load-in and load-out details?
Please load in between 8:30 to 9:30 am.
Break down and load out will begin at 4:00 pm.
Vendors are expected to stay for the full duration of the event. Please do not leave early.
Where can I park?
We ask vendors to please move your vehicle after unloading so that our customers can park in the school parking lot. There is plenty of parking on the street all around the school.
Where can I use the bathroom?
There are bathrooms available for vendors and customers in the Gym building and in the hallway just outside the Cafeteria.
How should I promote the event?
Promotional flyers are available for download below. Please post this information on your social media, post (with permission) at your favorite coffeeshop or other local gathering place, tell your friends and family, or distribute any way you think will help increase traffic.
Please use the #bandelierbazaar hashtag in all posts.
What should I do if I have to cancel?
Please let us know as soon as possible that you won’t be able to attend the Bazaar. A refund might be available with enough notice (minus a small charge to cover the PayPal fee).
Cancellations or no-shows the day of the Bazaar will not be refunded.
What happens if the weather is bad and I have an outside booth?
We always hope for good weather and generally have had it - but there is always the possibility that Nature will work against us. In the event of serious rain or snow we may be able to accommodate a small number of outdoor vendors in much smaller indoor spaces, but that is not guaranteed. Please consider the weather when making your plans for your outdoor booth space, and remember - it’s New Mexico, so just wait 5 minutes and the weather will change!
Please note that the Bazaar will go forward at the discretion of APS and the State of NM in regards to any health regulations.
Vendors must comply with Albuquerque Public Schools and City of Albuquerque safety codes at all times:
There is NO SMOKING on APS property.
Please do not bring your pet to the school – service animals are allowed but must be kept in your booth.
No lit candles or open flames.
No space heaters or fans allowed.
