Hello, new to the sub here but it looks like the place for this question, I have recently gotten a job running a CR Onsrud CNC machine and I am using Alphacam to write the programs and output it into G code. This is all going really well, I like Alphacam a lot and I can bang out programs with it.

We also have a Shopbot at our factory. The shopbot currently uses a different type of coding to run the machine, and a different guy that writes the programs. He says it can take him up to 4 hours to write a complicated Shopbot file, that we could do in about 15 minutes on Alphcacam. I would like to start writing the shopbot programs using AC. Is this possible? Does anyone know if it is as simple as getting a new post processor for alphacam to talk to the shopbot? Are there any resources on the internet with free posts to try out? I hope this makes sense, I'm still learning it all and trying to work/operate/program/learn all at the same time. Thanks in advance
