TBT offers students a chance to grow through the fundamentals of dance. Aimed at preparing dancers for a professional ballet career, students admitted to the Professional Division will have an opportunity to advance their technique and artistry in one of two programs, the Professional Training Division and Studio Training Company.

Throughout the summer, Texas Ballet Theater School offers a range of programs for aspiring pre-professional dancers and young artists. These classes are focused on younger students, and combine professional instruction with fun summer themes for a rewarding experience.

Designed to partner with local public schools and bridge the gap between students and dance, CityDance makes the arts more accessible than ever and supports the arts in our community. CityDance partners with schools and organizations across Dallas-Fort Worth to offer a free five-week series of introductory ballet classes to children who may otherwise lack access.

Open to teens age 14 and up and adults of all ages, this program is a great way to experience dance training, stay in shape and have fun! Three levels of ballet classes are offered: Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced.

There is live piano accompaniment for ballet classes! Dress for comfort and bring your ballet slippers (though tights and leotards are recommended). Open classes for Adults are scheduled throughout the week both mornings and evenings Monday through Friday, as well as on Saturday.

Toddler & Me dance classes are for children 18 months up to the age of 3 years. Music, movement, balance and the basic dance steps are introduced in a fun, friendly and positive manner. This type of class includes mom or dad or another loved one participating in the class along with the little dancer. Our teachers will keep the music and curriculum moving while parents actively encourage, support, and keep the little dancer on track.

Ballet, Tap & Jazz dance classes are typically offered for children 3-8 years old. We incorporate a mix of the three types of dance during class time using high-energy music. Students learn choreography to multiple dances throughout the year and get to show off their moves at recital time! Our original music separates Tippi Toes dance classes from all the rest and we guarantee big smiles and lots of fun every single class! Students will be grouped by age and our staff is trained to customize the class according to the age of the kiddos!

Tippi Pro dance class is perfect for the growing dancer who is interested in more time learning ballet choreography. We keep all of our classes upbeat and fun and this class will teach your dancer more advance ballet steps, while keeping the energy of class positive, fun and engaging every week!

Hip Hop/Jazz dance classes are created especially for children 6-12 years of age. Using popular music the students start learning dances and choreography quickly as well as learning various dance elements. Our version of hip hop/jazz dance is extremely tasteful and clean and our priority is offering age-appropriate material in a fun way!

At San Francisco Ballet School, we believe ballet is for everyone, including adults with little or no dance experience. Adult ballet classes at SF Ballet School offer a great workout, grounded in classical technique, led by Company and School faculty members who teach the same steps to SF Ballet dancers.

Students learn pointe work essentials and begin integrating it in their center combinations. Classes feature live piano accompaniment. Nalisha Rangel started dancing when she was six years old, studying ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, and modern dance at Arizona's Tucson School of Ballet, under Linda and Leslie Walker. After graduating high school, Nalisha moved to Flagstaff, where she continued her training at Coconino Community College. After moving to Seattle, she trained under Marlo Martin.
