Servicing the customer at best is always be the first thing to do by any company in the world. And that was what we did as a car rental company in Bali serving the best Bali car rental service we can delivery to the customer. We want to serve the customer (the renter) higher than they expected. But, sometime that good will is not enough..

Just yesterday one of our car rental customer just sent us an email, complaint about his reserved car. But this is not ordinary email complaint. It's quiet bit confusing, but it happened.

The story was begin about a month ago while he booked a car to be used by today. After fill out the online car rental booking form and we replied it, he confirmed with the condition and any other terms.

He booked a Suzuki Jimny, a mini jeep-small size car that suit for a solo or a couple traveler.

Regarding the rate, the Suzuki Jimny he reserved is the cheapest car rental in our fleet. The rate is USD 20 per day. The car is also quiet and old car as it was discontinued in 2003. No new car for the Jimny.

A long story short, on the day he is landing at Bali airport, he met with our staff who was pick him up and gave the car there. But surprisingly he upset with the car and insist he we will receive it.

Yes we admit that didn't not give him a Suzuki Jimny as he reserved, instead we upgrade the car to the Toyota Avanza, a two class higher car rental which is more expensive car.

While the Suzuki Jinmy rate is USD 20 per day, the Toyota Avanza rate is USD 30 per day.

The Toyota Avanza we gave him is relatively new car, year 2016.

Why we didn't give him the Suzuki Jimny as he ordered? It's because to be honest the stock of our Jimny is very limited due to the old. Furthermore it was still under around peak season New Year. So the Jimny - at the end - doesn't available on the date he arrives and thus we upgrade it to the better car.

As the old car the Jimny is not convenience enough to drive. While the Avanza as a recent model car is absolutely very convenience to drive. But still he rejected our good will to change his car with another better one.

Bali car rental review

Here is with his email complaint regarding the car rental, sent by him tomorrow morning after he checked in the hotel:

"Hi Mr. Haliman,

As you know we agreed for a Suzuki Jimny and i asked for this car because i definitely wanted this car!

Tonight when your employee came to pick us up, he came with a Toyota Avanza. Dont get me wrong but i dont care if it is actually an "upgrade". I wanted a jeep style car, otherwise i could book also anywhere else!

Your employee told me there is a problem qt Jimnys transmission and AC. That means you knew it since longer time and you should have tell me this, and i could book anywhere else!!

I kindly ask you to organize me and bring me a jeep style Jimny Daihatsu Feroza or anything like it to my Hotel in Sanur and replace it with this Toyota you gave me.

I ask to appreciate.

Oh..wow OMG...that was our reservation staff yelled after read the email. Very surprising...! As many other previous customer who got the same treat like this was very happy for the car upgrade :)

Yes, he just another jeep-lover, evidently! So that was why he insisted to have a Suzuki Jimny, not for anything else..

However this experience bring us a lot of exam, to pursuit more perfectness to deliver the best Bali car rental service to the customer who come to Bali for their holiday.
