Balancia is a single‑player physics puzzle game. We collect the minimum data needed to run online features (leaderboards, cloud save), show ads, understand how the game is used, and fix crashes. We do not sell your personal data.
Balancia is not directed to children under 13. Its content is suitable for all ages, but the intended audience is 13+.
Provided by you (only if you choose to sign in):
Google Play Games sign-in — if you sign in with Google Play, we receive an identifier for your Play Games account through Firebase Authentication. We do not receive your Google email address and we do not copy your Google profile name; your leaderboard name defaults to an anonymous handle (e.g. "Player1234") and you can change it in the Account screen.
Email address — only for older accounts that were created with Email or Google sign-in before those sign-in methods were removed. New accounts do not provide an email address.
If you play as a guest, no account information is collected.
If you send feedback (optional):
The message text you write, plus basic technical context (app version, device model, OS version, language, current level) and your account ID, so we can understand and act on it.
Collected automatically:
A user identifier (Firebase Authentication user ID) to save your progress and rank.
Game activity: levels started/completed, stars, scores, hints/undos used, session data.
Approximate country/region and language.
Device information: model, operating system version, screen, language, and an advertising identifier.
Crash diagnostics: stack traces and device state at the time of a crash.
Stored on your device:
Game progress, settings, and hint/undo credits (local storage). Your progress — level stars and scores, Endless records, personal statistics, achievement counters and credits — is also backed up to the cloud under your account ID (guest accounts included), so it can be restored after reinstalling or on another device signed in to the same account.
Provide and sync game progress (cloud save).
Operate global leaderboards (the name you choose and your score are visible to other players).
Show advertising, including rewarded ads you choose to watch for in‑game rewards.
Measure usage and improve game balance and difficulty (analytics).
Detect and fix crashes and bugs.
Read and respond to feedback you choose to send from within the game.
We use the following Google services. Data is processed according to Google's privacy policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy):
Firebase Authentication — sign‑in and user identity.
Google Play Games Services — optional sign‑in with your Google Play account.
Cloud Firestore — leaderboards and cloud save.
Firebase Analytics — usage analytics.
Firebase Crashlytics — crash reporting.
Google AdMob — advertising. AdMob may use the advertising identifier and approximate location to serve and measure ads. In the EEA, UK, and Switzerland we show a consent screen (Google User Messaging Platform) before personalized ads; where consent is not given or not required for children, non‑personalized ads are used.
You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings (Settings → Google → Ads).
EEA/UK/CH users can change ad consent at any time in the game: Settings → Advanced → Ad privacy choices.
You can turn off analytics at any time in the game: Settings → Advanced → Analytics.
Analytics data is retained per Firebase's default retention settings.
Account and cloud‑save data are retained until you delete your account or request deletion.
Crash logs are retained for a limited period for debugging.
In‑app: open Settings → Account → Delete account. This deletes your authentication account, your cloud data (progress, backups and leaderboard entries) and resets the game progress stored on that device.
By email: write to balanciagame@gmail.com (please include your leaderboard name so we can locate your data) and we will delete your data within 30 days.
Uninstalling the app removes locally stored data from your device.
Depending on where you live (e.g. GDPR in the EEA/UK, CCPA/CPRA in California), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to object to processing. To exercise these rights, contact balanciagame@gmail.com.
Data in transit is encrypted (HTTPS/TLS). Access to stored data is restricted by authentication and server‑side security rules.
We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by a new effective date at the top of this page.
