About me:
I am a researcher interested in the dynamics of Earth's climate variability and change. Broadly, I focus on the mechanisms related to these processes across a range of temporal and spatial scales.
I completed Ph.D. in physical oceanography from IIT Kharagpur, where I identified and characterised the circumpolar wavenumber-4 pattern in the Southern Hemisphere and examined its dynamical origin and regional rainfall impacts.
Then I moved to the Department of Meteorology at the University of Reading as a postdoctoral research scientist, supported by a Royal Society fellowship, to understand the dynamics of tropical AMV.
