This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the AI Bakery Cake Menu Maker mobile application (the "Application"). A. User Input Data (Text Prompts) The core functionality of our Application relies on generating images based on your text descriptions.
What we collect: We only collect the specific text prompts (descriptions of bakery items, cakes, and desserts) that you manually type into the text input fields within the Application.
How we collect it: Directly from you, when you actively enter text and tap the "Generate" button.
B. Device Permissions (Photos/Media)
What we collect: We request "Write-Only" or "Add-Only" permission to your device's Photo Library.
How we collect it: Via standard iOS/Android operating system permission dialogs.
Important Note on Photos: We do not collect, read, scan, upload, or transmit any of your existing personal photos. The permission is strictly used locally on your device to save the AI-generated images to your camera roll.
We use the data collected strictly for the following purposes:
To provide the Service: The text prompts you enter are used exclusively to instruct the AI models to generate the requested dessert and cake images.
To save your creations: The Photo Library permission is used solely to save the final generated image to your device upon your request.
To provide our AI generation features, your User Input Data (text prompts) must be processed by third-party artificial intelligence providers. We are fully transparent about who your data is sent to and how it is handled:
Who the data is sent to:
OpenAI, L.L.C. (Used for enhancing and structuring your text prompts for better visual results).
Replicate, Inc. / Black Forest Labs (Used for the actual rendering and generation of the image).
What data is sent: ONLY the specific text prompts you type into the Application are transmitted to these services. No account identifiers, names, device IDs, or personal photos are sent to these AI providers.
Purpose of sharing: To process the text and return an AI-generated image to your device.
Equal Protection Confirmation: We confirm that the third-party AI services (OpenAI and Replicate) we share your text prompts with are contractually obligated to provide the same or equal protection of user data as stated in this Privacy Policy. They do not use your personal data to identify you, and their processing is strictly limited to fulfilling the image generation request.
User Permission (In-App Consent): Before any data is transmitted to these third-party AI services, the Application explicitly identifies these third parties to you via an in-app consent modal. We do not transmit your text prompts to OpenAI or Replicate unless you explicitly grant permission by tapping "I Agree & Continue" within the Application.
Retention: We do not store your text prompts or generated images on our remote servers. Images are saved locally to your device's storage. Text prompts are processed in real-time by the aforementioned AI providers and returned to you immediately.
Security: We use standard encryption (such as HTTPS) when transmitting your text prompts to the third-party AI APIs to protect the data during transit.
We use RevenueCat to manage in-app purchases and subscriptions. When you make a purchase, the App Store (Apple) or Google Play processes the transaction. We do not collect or have access to your credit card information or direct billing details. RevenueCat processes anonymous receipt data to validate your subscription status.
Our Application does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal data without parental consent, please contact us.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this Privacy Policy. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
