This poor lady hired inexperienced guys to build her deck. Luckily, I knew one of them and he called me to finish it. With a little help from her grandson, we got it done!
Don Settles, a retired Vietnam veteran, asked me to build him a back porch so he and his wife can sit and watch the sun set. I told him I would be proud to. After completing the framework, he informed me that his bank account got whipped out and we wouldn’t be able to complete it. After three months of trying to figure out how we were going to get the job done a friend suggested I go to his church and talk to them. The preacher, after hearing my story without hesitation, wrote me a check for the total cost of the material. Now they can sit in peace while the sun goes down.
Not only did I remodel grandma's bathroom I also replumbed her whole house with new lines. "All the way to the meter"
I met Ron when I was looking for a water heater for a retired vet. Ron was kind enough to donate one when he informed me that a non prophet had given him money to remodel his house. “I wish he would have called me first to do the job, He did too after it was too late”.
Needless to say, a couple of “handymen” took most of his money and did none of the work.
When I got there I found out he was taking care of his 94 year old mother. So I removed his tub and built this shower bench for his mother. 100% of the material was refurbish or donated.
