Mahiuddin Baidya obtained his Ph.D. from Ludwig–Maximilians–Universität München (LMU), Germany in 2009. After postdoctoral studies with Prof. Hisashi Yamamoto at The University of Chicago, USA and Molecular Catalyst Research Center in Japan, he moved in 2014 to the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IITM) and started his independent career in 2015.
Currently, he is a Professor of Chemistry at IIT Madras.
