This DC-6 has a very colorful history! It is the oldest surviving DC-6, being the fourth one ever built. It only flew for two airlines, American Airlines (as NX90702) and Germanair (D-ABAH). It retired in 1969, and was transferred to become a cafe! The Möbel-Holsing Flugzeug Café operated until 2003, and when it shut down the aircraft was moved to the Sanicare building. The aircraft remains there today.
