This TB-24J trainer only served with the USAF.
"This crash occurred on September 15, 1944. This TB-24 took off from Bakersfield, California en route to Kirkland Army Air Field in New Mexico in a nighttime mission. Mid flight, the aircraft veered off course and crashed into Humphreys Peak. The aircraft was 15 miles off course at the time of the crash. Eight people on board died in the crash."
