Hi! I am Bada Kim. I am a PhD candidate in the philosophy department at the University of Kansas. 

My primary research interest lies in epistemology and the intersections between epistemology, ethics, and decision theory. My current research focuses on ideal rationality, epistemic permissivism, epistemic supererogation, and inquiry. I also have a broad interest in applied ethics (moral issues in sports, medicine, and business), philosophy of gender and race, 19th-century philosophy (esp. Nietzsche), and philosophy of mind.

I was born and grew up in South Korea. Interesting facts about my name: My name (바다) means ocean; there are two singers (김바다 & 바다) who have the same name as me.
