| Modular Learning as an Alternative Learning for the Students of Laurel Batanggas 

Learners in laurel batanggas will experience modular distance learning as a way to continue their education after experiencing three days non stop raining because of typhoon kristine. 

October 24, 2024 typhoon kristine hit the province of laurel batanggas with the span of three hours it immediately submerged. The municipal councilor of laurel said that the back of face-to-face classes is at the end of the month of November.

Some reporter asked Allan Rodriguez the municipal councilor of batanggas if the given estimated budget is enough for the recovery of the province and its people. 

“I think it’s enough naman, I also apologize that many families are greatly affected. However, as a solution we will do some rehabilitation and give immediate subsidies to each family.” Allan Rodriguez replied.

In accordance to the statistics report 30-40 baranggay and 70% of it are affected because of the typhoon. Allan Rodriguez  replied to the reporter when he was asked how the citizen of batanggas especially the students are being cope up to the situation. 

“Filipinos are known for their resiliency that’s why, for example, what happened to the eruption of Taal volcano, in the span of four years the people are slowly rising up and then Kristine came.” Allan Rodriguez said.

There is an upcoming typhoon that is slowly nearing the Philippines and municipal councilor Allan Rodriguez advised the citizens to be prepared enough. He said in the press conference that people should be prepared, to be understanding and always stand on end.

“Wag sana matigas ang ulo ng mamamayan pagdating sa paglikas, na mas prioridad pa ang mga ari-arian keysa buhay” Allan Rodriguez advised to the residents of batanggas. 

The municipal councilor added that the roads are being restored with the help of the Department of Public Works and Highways. Allan Rodriguez also said to be updated on the announcement of Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAG-ASA).
