This Privacy Policy describes how we ("we", "us", "our", or the "Company") collect, use, and protect your information when you use our mobile application (the "App"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring you have a secure experience.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Data Stored Locally on Your Device
The core functionality of the App is to provide message backup and analysis tools.
Chat Data: When you import chat records, the messages, contact names, and related metadata are stored locally on your device in the App's sandboxed local database. We do not upload, sync, or store your personal chat history on our servers.
Media Files: Any media files (images, videos) saved through the App are stored solely in your device's local storage.
1.2 Data Processed for AI Features
To provide AI-driven features:
When you explicitly trigger an AI feature, only the specific text snippets required for that analysis are transmitted to our secure backend servers (and subsequently to our AI service providers).
No Retention: These text snippets are processed transiently in memory to generate the response and are immediately discarded. We do not log, save, or use your chat text to train any AI models.
Anonymization: We strongly recommend that you do not share sensitive personal information (like passwords or financial data) when using the AI features.
1.3 Usage Data and Analytics
We may collect anonymized, non-personally identifiable usage data to help us improve the App's performance and user experience, including:
App crash reports and diagnostic logs
Feature usage frequency and session duration
Device model and operating system version
1.4 Biometric Data
Our App offers a Privacy Lock feature that uses your device's Face ID or Touch ID for authentication. Biometric data (facial geometry, fingerprint data) is processed entirely by the operating system's Secure Enclave. We never access, collect, store, or transmit any biometric data. All authentication is handled by Apple's LocalAuthentication framework.
1.5 Information We Do NOT Collect
We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any account credentials.
We do not use the Apple Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) or any advertising tracking identifiers.
We do not track you across other apps or websites.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information to:
Provide, maintain, and improve the App's core functionalities.
Generate AI insights only upon your direct request.
Process in-app purchases and subscriptions.
Respond to your customer support requests.
Diagnose technical issues and improve App stability.
3. Third-Party Services
We may employ third-party companies and services to facilitate our App:
Apple StoreKit: For processing auto-renewing subscriptions and in-app purchases. Apple handles your payment information securely; we do not have access to your credit card details.
AI Service Providers (Google Gemini API): We use Google's Gemini API to process the text snippets you submit for analysis. Google's API data usage policies prohibit the retention or use of API-submitted data for model training. Text is processed transiently and is not stored by Google or by us after the response is generated.
Crash Reporting: We may use third-party crash analytics tools that collect anonymized diagnostic data to help us improve app stability.
We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with any third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.
4. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information only in the following limited circumstances:
Legal Requirements: If required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.
Safety: To protect the rights, property, or safety of the App, our company, our users, or the public.
With Your Consent: When you explicitly authorize us to share specific data.
5. Security of Your Data
We prioritize the security of your data. All local chat backups are stored within the App's sandboxed storage on your device. We also provide a Privacy Lock feature (Face ID / Touch ID) to add an extra layer of access protection inside the App. Data transmitted to our AI servers is encrypted using industry-standard TLS/SSL encryption. However, please remember that no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
Local Data: You have complete control over your local data. You can delete all your backed-up chats and data at any time by using the "Clear All Data" option in the App's Settings. Uninstalling the App will also remove all locally stored data.
Server Data: As mentioned, we do not retain your chat data on our servers. AI-processed text snippets are discarded immediately after generating a response.
7. International Data Transfers
If you are accessing the App from outside the region where our servers are located, please be aware that data transmitted for AI processing may be transferred to and processed in a different jurisdiction. By using the AI features, you consent to this transfer. We ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your data in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
Right to Access: Request information about what data we hold about you.
Right to Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data (for local data, use the "Clear All Data" feature).
Right to Opt-Out: You can opt out of AI features at any time by simply not using them; no data is sent unless you explicitly trigger an AI analysis.
Right to Data Portability: You can export your chat data using the App's built-in export feature.

9. Children's Privacy
Our App is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we can take necessary actions.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
