Privacy Policy for Back Pocket Booth:

Last updated: August 15, 2026

Back Pocket Booth ("we," "our," or "us") operates the mobile application (the "App"). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our App and the choices you have associated with that data.

1. Information Collection and Use

Back Pocket Booth is designed to provide a local audio recording and playback experience. We prioritize your privacy and do not collect, store, or transmit your personal data to any external servers.

Types of Data Collected:

• Audio Data: The App requires access to your device's microphone to record your voice performances. These recordings are processed and stored locally on your device.

• Device Storage: The App accesses your device's internal storage to save your finished recordings and to load audio beats/tracks for your use.

2. Permissions

To provide its core functionality, the App requests the following permissions:

• Microphone (RECORD_AUDIO): Necessary to record your vocal performances.

• Storage (READ/WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE): Necessary to save your recorded audio files to your device's Music folder and to allow you to share them.

• Internet: Used for standard system-level networking (e.g., potential future updates or basic error reporting), though no user-generated audio is transmitted over the internet.

3. Data Security and Storage

All audio recorded within Back Pocket Booth stays on your device.

• No Cloud Uploads: We do not upload your voice recordings, beats, or personal settings to any cloud storage or third-party servers.

• User Control: You have full control over your recordings. You can delete them at any time through the "History" tab within the App or via your device's file manager.

4. Third-Party Services

The App does not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs that collect data about your usage or identity.

5. Children’s Privacy

Our App does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. Since all data is stored locally on the user's device, we have no access to data that could identify a minor.

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date at the top.
