Medical Professionals Needed to Serve Young Students of North Texas

The Lewisville Texas School District is home to over 53,000 students. This community is home to many under-served children and families. There are many migrant families that find this city a temporary home and homelessness in the student population is unfortunately also an issue. This community is directly off the well traveled corridor of I-35 between Dallas and Denton. I wanted to share an opportunity to learn more about this community and serve at their annual back to school fair this August. Medical professionals are needed for sports physicals and eye exams. Vouchers for glasses will be provided to students as well but an initial eye exam is required. This is a chance to serve more than four thousand children in just over 5 hours. With months of preparation, hundreds of well organized volunteers will be participating in this single event.

If you or someone you know could volunteer for 5 hours Saturday August 3, let's collaborate.

I am also connected with a team of pioneers serving the medical needs on a monthly basis. The local Salvation Army and physicians are opening their facilities to serve this community. If you are led to be a part of a team serving on an occasional Saturday morning, Let's get you connected.
