The Behavioral Addictions Clinic (BAC) has been established by Department of Psychiatry and National Drug Dependence Treatment Center (NDDTC), All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi with an aim to cater to those experiencing or at- risk for developing behavioral addictions. We cater to persons with excessive and problematic internet use, online/ offline (video) gaming, smartphone use, screen use, social media use, pornography viewing, sexual addictions, pathological gambling, among others.

The clinic offers treatment services for the behavioral addictions and the co-occurring psychiatric and substance use disorders that are commonly observed among these persons.

The BAC is also engaged in various public health initiatives; research; and capacity building initiatives on behavioral addictions. The clinic has also established collaborations with various agencies working in the area of behavioral addictions. Some of this work has been published in academic peer reviewed journals.
