Baby Monitor is an app for parents and caregivers to monitor a baby using two iPhones on the same local Wi-Fi network.

Information We Use

Camera and Microphone

The app uses the camera and microphone on the monitor-side device to stream live video and audio to the watcher-side device.

The app does not record, save, upload, or store video, audio, snapshots, or screen recordings.

Local Network

The app uses the local network to connect the monitor-side device and the watcher-side device on the same Wi-Fi network.

Pairing information, such as device identifiers and shared connection keys, is stored locally on the device and is used only to reconnect trusted devices.

Push Notifications

If push notifications are enabled, the app uses Firebase Authentication, Firebase Cloud Messaging, Cloud Functions, and Firestore to register notification destinations and deliver monitor events.

For this purpose, the app may send and store:

- Anonymous Firebase user ID

- FCM token

- Notification channel ID

- Device display name

- Notification event information

This information is used only for app functionality, such as registering devices, managing notification destinations, and delivering notifications.

Advertising

The app uses Google Mobile Ads / AdMob to show ads.

Google Mobile Ads may collect data such as device identifiers, advertising-related data, usage data, and diagnostics for ad delivery, ad measurement, fraud prevention, and service improvement.

The app does not use IDFA and does not request App Tracking Transparency permission.

Video and Audio Use

The app does not use video or audio for advertising, analytics, profiling, or sale to third parties.

Third-Party Services

The app uses the following third-party services:

- Firebase

- Firebase Authentication

- Firebase Cloud Messaging

- Firebase Cloud Functions

- Firestore

- Google Mobile Ads / AdMob

These services may process data according to their own privacy policies.

Data Retention

Notification-related data is retained only as long as needed to provide notification functionality and operate the service.

Video and audio are not retained because they are not recorded or stored by the app.
