The BabyAware application (the "App") was developed by Yakov Nahon (the "Developer").

1. Information Collected

The App does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information on external servers.

All data is stored exclusively on the user's local device.

2. Permissions and Their Use

• BLUETOOTH_CONNECT / BLUETOOTH_SCAN

  Purpose: Detecting connection and disconnection of the car's Bluetooth device.

  No MAC addresses or device names are stored on any external server.

• ACTIVITY_RECOGNITION

  Purpose: Detecting if the user is moving, walking, or in a vehicle – to reduce false alerts.

  Data is processed only in device memory and is not stored.

• FOREGROUND_SERVICE / FOREGROUND_SERVICE_CONNECTED_DEVICE

  Purpose: Running a background Bluetooth monitoring service.

• POST_NOTIFICATIONS

  Purpose: Displaying alerts about monitoring status and safety alarms.

• VIBRATE

  Purpose: Device vibration as part of the safety alert.

• WAKE_LOCK

  Purpose: Turning on the device screen as part of Stage 3 alerts only.

• USE_FULL_SCREEN_INTENT

  Purpose: Displaying the alarm screen over the lock screen.

• REQUEST_IGNORE_BATTERY_OPTIMIZATIONS

  Purpose: Preventing the OS from suspending the monitoring service so alerts arrive on time.

• RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED

  Purpose: Automatically restarting the monitoring service after device reboot.

• ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION / ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION

  Purpose: Required by Android as a prerequisite for Bluetooth scanning on older versions.

  The App does not monitor, store, or transmit the user's location.

3. Sharing with Third Parties

The Developer does not share any information with third parties.

The App contains no ads, analytics, or third-party SDKs that collect data.

4. Data Storage

All preferences (such as selected Bluetooth device, active hours, settings) are stored

exclusively in local device storage (Android DataStore, SharedPreferences, and Room Database).

The Developer cannot access this data.

5. Log Files

In case of errors, the App saves a technical log file on the local device only.

This file is sent to the Developer only if the user chooses to send it via

the "Send email to developer" button. The user can review the log file before sending.

6. Children

The App is intended for parents and adults and does not collect information from children.

7. Changes to This Policy

Changes to the privacy policy will be posted on this page. Continued use of the App

after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
