1. Introduction BabyShield (“we,” “our,” or “the App”) is a personal tool designed to help users track child vaccination schedules and milestones. This Privacy Policy explains our practices regarding the collection and use of information.

2. Data Collection (Local Storage Only) BabyShield is designed with privacy as a priority.

• Personal & Health Information: Any information you enter into the App, including baby names, birth dates, and vaccination records, is stored locally on your device.

• No Server Uploads: We do not collect, transmit, or store your personal health data on any external servers.

• No Third-Party Sharing: Since we do not collect your data, we do not sell or share it with any third parties.

3. Data Retention and Deletion

• Retention: Since all data is stored locally on your device, it is retained only for as long as the App remains installed. We do not have access to, nor do we store, any of this data on our servers.

• Deletion: You have full control over your data and can delete it at any time:

  • In-App Deletion: You can delete your personal and baby health records directly within the App by navigating to the "Edit Profile" section and selecting the delete option.

  • Manual Deletion: You can also clear all App data through your Android device settings (Settings > Apps > BabyShield > Storage > Clear Data).

  • Uninstallation: Uninstalling the App will automatically and permanently remove all locally stored data from your device.

4. Health App Declaration & Compliance BabyShield provides vaccination tracking based on publicly available health guidelines (NIS/IAP).

• The App is a management and educational tool only.

• It does not provide medical diagnoses or professional medical advice.

• Users are encouraged to consult with a licensed pediatrician for all medical decisions.

5. Permissions The App may request minimal permissions (such as Notifications) solely to provide vaccination reminders. These permissions can be managed at any time via your device settings.

6. Changes to This Policy We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected with a new “Effective Date.”
