Bachelorette Guide
Coastal bachelorettes will always be a thing. Each season seems to bring a fresh take on this celebration theme. Seashells and Wedding Bells does just that, with an updated upscale feel. We may be on the coast but maybe we are staying in a resort this time. The idea of a personal bridal brand is notable with this theme - think [Bride's Last Name] Beach Club. We've pulled together a new selection of weekend activities, gift guides and more to help you plan your bachelorette weekend!

There's a lot of overlap here with the Last Coast and Last Splash bachelorette themes. What differentiates Seashells and Wedding Bells are the emphasis on shells and an upscale aesthetic. As always, here's some of our favorite weekend tag lines to help build your brand:

Neutral colors are key. Think the sand and the color of shells. Beige, tans, and white, accented with light blues. As far as textures, there's an emphasis on woven naturals. Like the inside of those shells, pearly whites are also so fun to mix in.

Start with a great beach tote that can be utilized from day one. Bring in those natural textures with a woven beach bag to house all your curated gifts. A plush beach towel, branded or no, is a great filler to start.
When adding in beauty gifts, consider choosing brands that are the bride's favorite, but in neutral tones or packaging. When chosen intentionally, a lip gloss or even sunscreen can contribute to the overall feel of the gift.
Don't forget to add in shell details such as gift tags, jewelry or martini glasses!

She Sells Seashells
We feel as though every day could be spent at the beach and that would encompass the perfect itinerary. But if you're looking for more, we have some ideas.
Much like a resort, consider planning seaside yoga or hiring a private chef. We love the idea of yoga in coordinating neutral sets. The chef should absolutely prepare some type of seafood. A oyster bar feels so chic as an appetizer and the presentation instantly adds to the weekend's decor.
If you really want to lean into all that a beach club can offer, consider a private sailboat ride or visiting a spa.

Since shells are having a huge moment in the jewelry scene, find a local charm bracelet DIY bar and create a coastal themed token to remember the weekend. Make sure to add a shell charm or two.
After browsing seaside towns and the beach, take your treasures home from an at home crafting experience. With some imagination, random placement, and modge podge, decorate frames or hairbrushes with small shells. You could even decorate hair clips or phone cases. The possibilities are endless like the ocean itself!

As you transition to late night, ensure your group has packed accordingly. Ask your girls to dress like shells with beading, that's right, shells and sequins. Dresses covered with these textures are ideal. If you're comfortable with it, have everyone dressed in those swirly white hues.
If you want to be the only one in white, lean into the sequins, asking everyone to channel their inner mermaid with glittery blues and purples.
Finally, pearl or nautical jewelry (and a clutch for the bride) make for the perfect weekend accessories.

Picking your accommodations can play a huge factor when emulating a beach resort. If you can, find somewhere with an aesthetic pool and amenities. If not, look for accommodations that aren't cluttered with too much decor. A blank canvas will serve you well.
If you looking to create a weekend brand, consider items that can displayed that have your custom logo. A bowl of matchbooks, weekend glassware or koozies. Invites and weekend itineraries can be framed and displayed. It's an extra step, but making sure the bowls and baskets that display such items match the aesthetic really elevate the entire feel of the space. Opt for clean white ceramics or woven baskets.

Bring those shells again into focus with your tablescapes. Start with a white tablecloth, and a light, natural feeling table runner generously sprinkled with small shells. Add in white corals and tall white candles, adding blue bows tied around them. Pair linen placements with bright white plates, gold silverware, and light blue glasses.
For the brides' room, pick up large balloon letters. Decorate her bed with gifts, mixed beige and tan balloons and a large seashell float.
