Hyperphase was a microgame project for a Gameplay Programming course I took that focussed on physics implementation in Unreal Engine.
Of course, 'Physics Integration' applies to many ends of gameplay, and because I'd already tackled the more standard stuff like Telekinesis, physics-based carrying systems, buoyancy, etc. - I decided to investigate player movement systems; something I'd largely put aside up until now.
Below is short showcase of the demo level and explanation of the various mechanics.
