Crowkinesis was developed for a Griffith Film School Gamejam with the Themes 'Force, Pumpkin and Twist'. I was the sole gameplay programmer on the team and aimed to place a heavy emphasis on the gamefeel or 'juice.' This ended up materializing via good sound design, and impactful physics with simple effects.
We ended up winning the best sound design award! I put a lot of effort into making the HUD feel reactive, bouncy, etc - to fit the feel of the game. It was definitely a welcome experience to focus on more Arcade-y gameplay.
The endlessly increasing difficulty, mixed with satisfying sound design and fast paced gameplay resulted in an exhilarating experience.
