Northern Arizona Peer and Family Coalition
Northern Arizona Peer & Family Coalition (NAPFC) is an affiliate of the Arizona Peer & Family Coalition (APFC). NAPFC is dedicated to extending peer and family leadership into all aspects of northern Arizona’s behavioral healthcare system. The mission of NAPFC is to advocate for, connect, promote and develop leadership by peers and family members throughout the northern 6 counties of our state, in concert with the APFC.
NAPFC began in March of 2019 with a few members of the APFC and some northern Arizona peers, family members, and allies. Since April of 2019, NAPFC has held meetings the 3rd Wednesday of each month. The meetings provide support, resources, and updates from AHCCCS and the health plans that serve northern Arizona. They are of great value in providing participants the opportunity to ask questions, make connections and learn about rights and advocacy.
All peers/family members/allies are welcome to promote and advocate for behavioral health rights and services for children and adults throughout northern Arizona. Connect with other peer/family members/allies to develop community leadership!
