It really was?
All of Dorian’s clones lunge at once, Azalo-S roaring out to Goozma before defending herself. “GOOZMA! OCCUPY WERNER SO HE DOESN'T ESCAPE!” Azalo-S yells out, conjuring a mana shield around herself for brief defense. Goozma acts instantly, launching himself off a small hill directly at Werner. Werner shoves Goozma off him as he makes impact, separating both of them from the other battle. Goozma and Werner rise from the ground at the same time, circling each other slowly. “I told you I’d choose when I really lost. And I'm not sure when. So cmon, you’re said to be the most formidable opponent in the universe. Unless it's all just empty statements, THEN SHOW ME!” Goozma rants, rushing directly at Werner.
Though, as usual, let's focus on one at a time.
A “friendly” matchup
Personal godly notice: this will get really confusing really fast; even as a god that has noted everything possible, it was still difficult to put this into proper words, so good luck, I guess.
The main body of Dorian stays atop the hill Werner was just on, watching his clone variants overwhelm the Azalo. However, a spear is suddenly thrown at him, lodging into his chain gun arm and jamming the firearm. Azalo-G stands nearby, already conjuring the Naginata of Sound. “You’re mine, traitor,” Azalo-G speaks with a very unusual cold attitude. Seems like he was quite pissed. Azalo-G suddenly moves, his body carrying confident and skilled grace with his new godlike speed. Though Dorian was ready for this. Two clones suddenly sneak up on Azalo-G, one body slamming into him and another perching nearby, unfolding multiple rotary cannons from its body. Azalo-G kicks the first clone off, noting its speed and upgrades directed towards melee combat. Azalo-G flourishes with his Naginata, swinging it violently around him. Dorian's melee clone is pushed far back by the sheer sonic shocks ripping through the air with each slash. Dorian's main body tears the spear out of his right arm, rapidly repairs it, and fires his chain gun at Azalo-G. Azalo-G conjures the Shield of Mass, completely blocking the chain gun round. Dorian's melee clone runs in at the sight of Azalo-G conjuring the shield, Azalo-G making one clean slash with his Naginata of Sound to hold it back. The second clone opens fire, hundreds of rotary cannon rounds filling the air around Azalo-G. Azalo-G disperses his shield, conjuring the Flail of Gravity and spinning it wildly in front of him as he rushes at Dorian's second clone. After only a second of movement, Dorian's melee clone charges after Azalo-G, grabs his leg, and slams him into the ground. Azalo-G swings the flail behind him, shaking off Dorian's melee clone but leaving his defense quite open. As the first rotary round hits Azalo-G, his second demon pact finally comes into effect. Seriously, did you think he only had one after all of this time? Azalo-G seemingly teleports behind the second clone, reducing it to scrap with one overcharged punch. Breaking the sound barrier around him with the strike. Dorian's melee clone breaks through the shockwave as Dorian's main body fires his railgun. Azalo-G parries the quick jab and swiftly dodges the railgun round.
Azalo-G backs away to cover his ears before the shockwave hits, countering Dorian’s melee clone with his various legwork. Dorian’s melee clone swiftly dodges every kick, palm striking Azalo-G in the chest and sending him far off. As Dorian’s melee clone goes to follow up, Castiel suddenly stops him, ordering Dorian to deal with the others and saying that he’ll deal with Azalo-G. “Well, isn't this beautiful, Uncle versus Nephew. I wondered how this would go since the day I met you.” Castiel says smugly, chugging a bottle of Jack Daniel's before activating Dustwalker. Azalo-G closes his eyes, knowing visual cues are deceiving around Castiel. Castiel exits Dustwalker behind Azalo-G; Domenik senses it and catches the knife strike. Castiel notes how Azalo-G is relying on sound and instinct, pulling his knife to his side for a swift slash. Azalo-G feels the knife pull and ducks to the side to dodge the swing. Azalo-G uses his position for a strong right hook, barely missing as Castiel enters Dustwalk again. Azalo-G rapidly swings the flail around himself, cutting off any openings Castiel saw. Castiel pulls his sidearm and fires 3 shots at Azalo-G to force him into proper defense. Azalo-G sees right through Castiel's trick, dashing through the bullets to nail him in the side with the flail. Castiel stabs Azalo-G’s arm, keeping them close for melee priority. Azalo-G disperses his flail, conjuring brass knuckles while throwing a strong left hook to stun Castiel. Castiel activates Dustwalker for just long enough to dodge the hit, reappearing behind Azalo-G with his knife fully wound. Azalo-G back-kicks Castiel away, conjuring a sniper for two quick shots. Castiel uses Dustwalker to appear directly in Azalo-G’s face, disarming his sniper and swiping his arm aside. Azalo-G grabs Castiel's hand holding his combat knife, disarming him swiftly before swinging a charged right hook. Castiel swiftly dodges, leg-sweeping Azalo-G and following up with an axe kick. Azalo-G catches the kick, using Castiel for leverage to slam him into the ground. Castiel rounds his back, whipping himself up right as Azalo-G throws a quite high kick. Castiel tenses, tanking the full hit of the kick. Azalo-G rushes after Castiel as he recovers, preparing for a dropkick. Castiel enters Dustwalker, dodging the dropkick and following up with a counter. Azalo-G twirls off the ground, blocking the knife swing with his legs. Just as Castiel tries to Dustwalk again, his timer hits zero. Azalo-G knew this was his moment. Azalo-G conjures a golden spork, stabbing Castiel in the side while hes distracted. Castiel attempts to block the next jab into a hook, failing due to his lack of defensive options. Castiel quickly swings twice with his knife, holding Azalo-G off briefly. Azalo-G powers through both slashes, hitting a powerful gut punch and then a knee strike. Castiel throws his knife as Azalo-G charges after him; the knife throw lands, stabbing Azalo-G in the shoulder. Azalo-G conjures one last weapon: the Sword of Reality. He knew Castiel had to die now, with his Dustwalker inactive. Castiel dodges every strike swiftly, knowing one hit would kill him instantly. Azalo-G rapidly burns through his stamina to keep the relic conjured, his second demon pact activating again. Azalo-G’s muscles suddenly tense up, throwing him off the ground like a rocket as he swings the sword straight at Castiel’s head. At that moment, Azalo-G had won the battle. Castiel’s head flies off his shoulders and lands near Dorian's main body.
A Mechanical God
Dorian picks up Castiel's head, crushing it with his grip before flying over to deal with the others. Azalo-S meets Dorian in the air, throwing multiple hand signs to send Dorian back with a shockwave. “This doesn't have to happen. We could have had a greater life.” Azalo-S bargains. “Who the fuck is we, magic-using loser,” Dorian says coldly, firing two chain-gun shots. Azalo-S conjures a shield in front of her, disregarding her back. One of Dorian's melee clones body-slams her, leaving her almost defenseless. Azalo-H fires a nanowire rope, lassoing Dorian's melee clone and reeling it in to fight with Azalo-HP. Azalo-Q flash-freezes various nearby clones, letting everyone have a free hit. Dorian’s main body fires his thermal liquid railgun at Azalo-Q, with Azalo-Q dispersing herself into snow briefly. ‘I hope Werner has a plan or is almost done; I can't hold off these annoying asses for so long,’ Dorian thinks to himself. Azalo-S conjures a mana rope to pull him in, hitting a strong mana-infused punch. Dorian flies back, using his shoulder rotary cannon to stall as one of his melee clones closes the distance for a strong jab at Azalo-S. Azalo-S barely blocks the jab, throwing the clone back with a shockwave and throwing a ball of Shatterice at it. Dorian’s melee clone dodges the ball, Dorian's main body beginning to provide ranged cover fire. Azalo-S slams the ground with her foot, uprooting a large slab of land. Dorian's melee clone tears through the slab of land, landing a clean blow on Azalo-S again. Azalo-S shoves the clone away, blocking the ranged fire with a mana shield. “Dorian, I really don't want to kill you,” Azalo-S yells out, hoping to make amends. “Sadly, I don't have a choice in the matter… Well, I do. But I don't give a shit,” Dorian replies, its melee clone recovering midair to stun Azalo-S. Dorian fires his chain gun multiple times; Azalo-S deflects every shot while holding off his melee clone. Azalo-A2 suddenly appears behind Dorian’s melee clone, hitting a powerful right hook and sending the clone flying. “Silva, help the others. I’ll personally deal with this thing.” Azalo-A2 commands, every other Azalo-A landing nearby. Azalo-A1 lobs a handful of plasma kunai at Dorian’s main body; -A4 and -A2 rush behind the ranged cover. Dorian pulls over multiple clones, one shoulder-bashing Azalo-A4, with two others stalling Azalo-A2 and -A1 with rotary cannon fire. Azalo-A3 fires one shot from her sniper, piercing straight through one of the clones' chests. Azalo-A1 uses the lack of bullet fire toward him to rush the other rotary cannon, using his tanto to decapitate and shred it. Azalo-A4 kicks the melee clone off her, tossing both her swords away. “I'm going to tear you to shreds,” Azalo-A4 whispers, knowing Dorian heard her. Azalo-A4 charges directly at Dorian's melee clone, using her raw strength to overpower it. Azalo-A1 occupies Dorian's main body, the other two fending off any clone that attempts to interfere. Quite randomly, a gigantic piece of earth is uprooted from the ground many miles away; it is easily the size of a large asteroid. Only for a powerful holy magic attack to reduce it to rubble and scraps. ‘Looks like Werner and Goozma aren't fucking around.’ Dorian thinks to himself, blocking the next two attacks from Azalo-A1.
Azalo-A4 struggles to keep control of the fight, attempting to overpower the clone consistently. The melee clone activates its artificial muscles, throwing Azalo-A4 far back. The melee clone uses its speed upgrades to close the distance in seconds; the shock from its speed briefly stuns Azalo-A4 for a free hit. Azalo-A4 dodges the first jab, throwing a right hook. Dorian ducks, following up with an uppercut into a snake jab. Azalo-A4 weaves the uppercut, catching the jab to stagger Dorian. Azalo-Q throws a stray ice bolt, freezing Dorian's melee clone in place for Azalo-A4 to extend. Dorian tears out of the ice, just barely dodging Azalo-A4’s sword swing. Dorian’s main body fires its railgun near their fight; the round explodes when it hits the floor and briefly stuns Azalo-A4. Dorian’s melee clone attempts to strike Azalo-A4, only for its leg to be blown off by Azalo-A3’s sniper. Azalo-A4 recovers a second later to split Dorian’s melee clone into thirds. Azalo-A4 looks over at the others, noticing Azalo-S had cleared out most of the other clones. The only issue left was Dorian's main body. Azalo-A1's face tanks a charged punch from Dorian, stabbing the robot in the side to slightly cripple his nanobot usage. Azalo-A4 rushes in, a cloud of nanobots suddenly surrounding Dorian. Azalo-A2 instantly gets what it's doing, rushing to get Azalo-A4 and -A1 away from him. “RUN! HE’S GOING TO DETONATE THE BOTS!” Azalo-A2 roars out, Azalo-A4 and -A1 getting the message too late as their surroundings are lit with explosive nanobots. As the smoke clears, only one man remains- though not anyone Azalo-A2 expected. Azalo-F unsheathes his odachi as the smoke clears around him, letting the starlight glint off the metal once more. “See how beautiful the blade is? It's the last thing you’ll see before you die; why not make it beautiful?” Azalo-F says with profound confidence, charging directly at Dorian. Dorian blocks the first slash, knee-striking Azalo-F and using his sonic cannon to stagger him. Azalo-F somehow parries the shockwave; don't ask me, I don't know. Dorian backs up briefly for two chaingun rounds. Azalo-F seemingly teleports past them, shoving Dorian back for a follow-up slash. Dorian backhands the sword aside, turning his sonic cannon into a plasma thrower. Azalo-F slashes the air around him, reducing the space to nothing along with his old location. “The fuck was that?” Dorian exclaims, his right arm being torn clean off by Azalo-F just a moment later. Azalo-F taps Dorian's chest, pushing them both back just a little. Dorian attempts to detonate his nanites again, Azalo-F reducing them to scrap the very next second. “Have a happy life!” Azalo-F announces, the blade of his odachi tearing through Dorian's eyes, then neck, then chest. Finally ending with a long vertical slash down Dorian's entire body.
Azalo-S tears out the last Dorian clone's cores, crushing them with magic before regrouping everyone near where they started. Azalo-L heals the people he can. Though everyone is thinking one thing. “So what's happening with Goozma?” Azalo-M questions. “Not sure, but I can only assume he’s holding off well.” Azalo-A4 answers. “Well, let's destroy this machine before Werner can get Goozma off,” Azalo-S says.
Now let's rewind briefly, seeing what was really going on with Werner and Goozma.
Adrenaline
Werner blocks the first punch, palm striking Goozma back. Goozma and Werner return to circling, waiting for one to begin. “Warning signs of static behavior may be apparent. Such as a sudden bitter and antagonistic attitude towards Family and Religion. A drastic decline in academic performance. A recluse of behavior and listening exclusively to heavy metal rock music. All these behaviors lead to-” Werner blurts out, teleporting in front of Goozma at the final word for a strong haymaker. Goozma dodges the sudden strike, pushing off the ground with everything his legs could give and a fierce punch. Werner catches the punch, using a burst to nullify the pushing forces. Goozma uses his other arm, grabbing Werner’s shoulder for a knee strike. Werner blocks the shoulder grab, redirecting the knee for his own. Goozma pushes back, dodging the knee strike and chucking a holy dagger at Werner. Werner catches the knife with his teeth, shattering it with his jaw strength. “I have no reason to hold back here, Goozma. I'll give you what you want; I'll give you my all.” Werner states, Goozma’s smile reaching ear to ear at the reassurance. Werner rushes, hitting a clean right hook and throwing a spinning hook kick. Goozma blocks the kick, striking at Werner with similar intensity. Werner trails on his hands, redirecting the strike and kicking Goozma with one fluid motion. Goozma endures the strike, shoulder-bashing Werner and following up with a diving axe kick. Werner blocks the kick, grabbing onto Goozma’s leg and hurling him into a nearby hill. Goozma tears out the ground, uprooting a tree to throw at Werner. Werner catches the tree throw, using it as a melee weapon as he closes the distance. Goozma meets Werner’s tree swipe, shattering the wood for a quick jab to the chest. Werner shoves Goozma back, following up with two quick kicks. Goozma blocks the second strike, throwing Werner briefly off balance. Goozma attempts to hit Werner before he can recover, a stage 1 burst pushing him back just enough to miss. Werner grabs Goozma’s missed jab, chucking him into a mountain. Goozma slams into the mountainside, having to block Werner’s rushdown. Goozma plays defensively, stalling briefly before bodyslamming Werner out of the mountain. Werner grabs Goozma as they fly through the air, throwing him directly down. Werner uses a stage 1 impact burst to launch himself at Goozma, the dropkick sending a powerful shock through the ground. Goozma dodges the kick just barely, hitting a clean uppercut and rushing after Werner. Werner catches the next jab, hitting Goozma with his own.
Goozma brushes the jab off, kicking Werner in the side and sending him flying. Werner grabs the mountain to halt his momentum, uprooting another tree to throw at Goozma. Goozma backhands the tree, sending it off as they continue hand-to-hand. Goozma and Werner rush at each other, swiftly blocking and dodging every blow. It truly seemed they were equal at the moment. Werner breaks the sound barrier next to Goozma with an impact burst, stunning Goozma just long enough for a clean left hook. Goozma crashes into a hill, witnessing Werner pop a stage 2 burst and uproot the entire nearby mountain. Goozma braces as Werner throws the mountain up, pushing it straight down at Goozma. Goozma charges his holy magic, finally using a spell in battle. Goozma casts his holy magic, a large sigil forming before thousands of holy slashes tear directly through the mountain like a knife through butter, reducing the mountain to dust and rubble. “NOW THIS IS GETTING INTERESTING!” Werner roars out, diving at Goozma for one powerful jab. Goozma meets Werner’s strike, his slime biology absorbing the impact and converting it into extra power for himself. A large explosion rips through the air, pushing both Goozma and Werner back. Werner regenerates his destroyed arm with a stage 1 healing burst, Goozma rolling his shoulders. Werner rushes again, grabbing Goozma by the throat and jumping straight up. Goozma struggles against Werner’s grip, and they both shove each other back. Werner pulls out a tungsten sphere, thundercunting it directly at Goozma. Goozma attempts to catch the ball, his left arm completely shattering under the Mach 6 fastball. With Werner breaking his personal fastball record, he charges Goozma again. Goozma braces, conjuring a new arm with holy magic to block Werner’s sudden strike. Werner grabs onto the magic arm, tearing it off and slamming Goozma directly down. Werner pulls his elbow out, announcing exactly what everyone is thinking. “SOUR CREAMMM!” Werner yells out, landing on top of Goozma directly with a powerful shock. Goozma forces Werner off him, pushing him far enough away so he has some amount of recovery time. “I really have underestimated you, Werner,” Goozma states, taking heavy breaths between each word. “Could say the same, but I have no time to gloat,” Werner replies. “Well, I can truly say I've been given the battle I've come for. Werner, as the 7th holy knight, I give you my blessing. Thank you for a proper battle.” Goozma praises, the life in his eyes fading out with his final words. Werner sheds a single tear, understanding exactly what Goozma wanted, and could not truly blame him. Werner winds up one powerful punch, using a stage 3 impact burst to completely atomize Goozma’s standing corpse. Giving him a truly world-shaking finale.
Then, Werner senses Azalo-S nearing the machine, the shockwave giving him the information he required. Werner rushes as fast as he can, meeting Silva’s gaze at the hill the machine stood upon. “You still have the choice of moving along; if you all leave now, I don't have to kill you all. You can all survive if you just leave; I don't want to kill you. I don't want to kill any of you.” Werner says with proper sympathy. “If you really cared, you would stop this meaningless death and just attempt to live a normal life.” Azalo-S contradicts. Werner stands idly, not giving off his intentions. Just waiting for them to leave.
Sorrow
Werner straightens his posture, tearing off the gas mask he’s always had on. His face, though disgustingly morphed, showed concern. “I have run out of time and peaceful options. You all have 5 seconds to begin leaving, or I have no choice.” Werner says, the seconds audibly ticking down. “You’re bluffing…” Azalo-S says, though still being afraid hes not. “I'm not, so honestly. I'll just kill you… All of you.” Werner replies coldly, driving his entire arm through Silva’s chest. Werner tosses her bleeding corpse aside, letting her blood or organs slowly spill onto the ground. Rushing Azalo-M down next, tearing out his intestine to wrap it around his neck, pulling him in and punching his skull. With Azalo-M reduced to a headless body, Werner moves his eyes to the rest. Azalo-A4 attempted to stop him, Werner grabbing her arms and tearing them clean off, stabbing her torn arms into her skull before viciously crushing her entire head. Azalo-A1 runs after him as well; Werner impales him through the stomach with both arms and tears him in half. Azalo-H attempts to use his artificial Dustwalker to leave, Werner grabbing him by the skull and slowly crushing it. Werner then appears behind Azalo-F, taking his sword and slicing his limbs off, one by one. Azalo-Q attempts to disperse herself; Werner teleports behind her for one powerful haymaker, instantly killing her. Werner looks around, finding Azalo-A2 attempting to flee. In a mere second, Azalo-A2’s jaw was torn off his head and driven straight into his temple, killing him. Werner picks up his cleaver from the hill the machine stands on. Appearing in front of Azalo-G the very next second. Werner raises his cleaver, a tear dropping from his one visible eye.
