The Greatest Crusade
Werner exits the universe bouncer’s portal, coming face to face with a large number of people in quite fancy armored uniforms. “Werner, by order of the MCC higher-ups, you have been sentenced to execution by reality erasure!” One of the soldiers roared out, Werner straightening his posture. The MCC, also known as the Multiverse Correctional Council, was composed of some of the strongest beings in all of creation. They all collectively follow one goal: protect the gods' scripted timeline and ensure all the events go as planned. But of course, Werner was an outlier.
Another portal nearby opens; none other than Azalo-T walks out. Azalo-T perks up at the sight of Werner, showing a slight bit of confusion, then fear, then realization. “Oh, that's why-” Azalo-T mutters to himself, stopping himself from continuing. “Yeah, it is,” Werner responds, Azalo-T wondering how the fuck Werner heard him. “So, this is it? You really initiated the Nothing Protocol?” Azalo-T asks rhetorically. “You know why this has to happen; don't act like this isn't of our greatest interest,” Werner remarks coldly. “Your logic is sound. I've never assumed you a liar, nor a manipulator… Werner, I want to continue. Give this everything you have. I’ll hold these usurpers off your back.” Azalo-T says, walking past Werner to slowly approach the MCC soldiers.
Werner launches himself off the planet, grabbing at the lines of space to send himself to another nearby Galaxy. They could only acknowledge Azalo-T's will. His pride was to fight alongside a great friend for one last time. It was a moving action, but sadly Werner had a lack of time to mourn. As Werner begins to devise the most optimal path to destroy and kill off everything possible, another MCC portal opens. Many gods, deities, and even primordial gods walk out to confront Werner. “You all must understand why this is in the best interest,” Werner advises, taking slow, steady steps towards the group. “Don't think Azalo-T betraying us is going to stop the fact that you will die today. He was merely a slight drawback.” The Primordial god of Malice states, taking out the War Scythe of Malice. “I've already attempted to bargain, to show the ways everyone could benefit because of this. But you all remain stubborn. So from now on, I, Werner, will tear this multiverse down to its last concepts. To rid it of the arrogance of its people and develop anew. I wish you all the best, but for now, words are unnecessary.”
Thus it began, Werner lunging at the Primordial God of Malice’s neck and tearing it clean off. Werner drew his Cleaver as hes crowned the Primordial God of Malice, his Cleaver taking on a more fleshy form, matching Werner's own. Every God conjures their own weapon, the God of Impact noticing his lack of the Mace of Impact. Werner wastes no time in this battle, teleporting behind the God of Impact to sever his arms and legs from his torso. The Other Gods try to pin Werner, and the Primordial God of Reality rushes in for a powerful, Reality-infused punch. Werner tenses his muscles, nullifying the punch with raw durability. “Did you seriously expect that to work?” Werner mocks, twirling his Cleaver as if it weighs less than a feather, having decapitated multiple Gods and deities. Werner sizes his Cleaver to an astronomical value, slicing the entire planet they stand on into shreds.
Multiple gods notice that even the slightest graze of Werner’s cleaver leaves an impossible-to-cure multiversal neurotoxin in their bodies. It seems Werner wasn't fucking around anymore, as this was created on the spot. The All Bringer of Velocity suddenly appears from thin space, his presence being a heavy spiritual weight for everyone. Except Werner, of course. The All Bringer of Velocity quickly acts, hitting Werner with combos faster than the perception of even the strongest beings in the multiverse. Werner stayed unimpressed, slicing the All Bringer of Velocity’s leg off the next second. “You’re incredibly slow.” Mocked Werner, grabbing the All Bringer of Velocity the next second to use as a shield. The other Gods couldn't move, unable to hurt an All Bringer while also needing to attack Werner. Werner shakes their head, reducing the All Bringer of Velocity to small bits before charging after the Gods. The Primordial God of Foresight attempts to occupy Werner, the Primordial God of Light providing ranged cover. Werner deals with both melee and ranged combat simultaneously, the Primordial God of Foresight being unable to predict Werner’s movements. Werner randomly chucks their Cleaver, which homes in on the Primordial God of Light as Werner continues their hand-to-hand combat. The Primordial God of Light fends off the Cleaver, but Werner's strength completely overwhelms the Primordial God of Foresight. With minimal effort—Werner had killed the Primordial God of Foresight—shifting their attention to the others.
The Primordial God of Light binds Werner’s cleaver to a nearby asteroid. It fires a full-power holy beam at Werner the next second. Two other Gods pin Werner down, using various spells to immobilize him. Werner grabs both Gods by the legs and slams them into each other. The force fragments both Gods' bodies, and the mana they held explodes outward, blocking the Holy beam just long enough for Werner to teleport behind the Primordial God of Light. With one swift knife-hand, the Primordial God of Light was killed. The MCC higher-ups and Gods fighting Werner could barely understand how this was even possible. One who once struggled against city-level threats was now outperforming even some of the strongest things in all existence.
Two more beings appear, one waving off the rest of the group. “Don't worry, we have it from here.” Said a weirdly imposing voice. Both Gods unveil themselves, the mana they possess far beyond anything seen before. The said beings reveal themself to be the All Bringer of Reality, and the All Bringer of Souls.
“Now this hardly seems fair. Ain't it?” Mocks Werner; they clearly didn't give a shit. Both All Bringers charge their spells, preparing for Werner to attack first. All 3 wait. Tension rises as everyone awaits another to make their first move. The All Bringer of Reality fires a single Reality Erasing blast, Werner summoning his cleaver to parry it. Werner’s cleaver is instantly erased; the All Bringer of Souls rushes in as they are disarmed. Werner blocks the first strike from the All Bringer of Souls, noticing his attempt to use Soul Manipulation. “Idiot.” Werner scolds, backhanding the All Bringer of Souls as the All Bringer of Reality replaces him.
Werner scoffs, wondering why they even attempt hand-to-hand. Werner throws a heavy right hook. The All Bringer of Reality attempts to conjure a shield, though Werner’s strength is far past defense. As both All Bringers regain their footing, Werner holds their hand out, grabbing at the fabric of Reality itself. “GIVE IT BACK!” Werner roars, tearing at the reality around themself to reform their Cleaver into existence. The All Bringer of Reality squints, wondering how Werner possibly pulled that off with raw strength alone. Both All Bringers then assumed they needed to take this seriously from the start. Both All Bringers chant Spirit Technique Ten, telling newfound divine light to bounce off any remaining surfaces. The All Bringer of souls grabs at the air, tearing all 17 of Werner’s demon pacts away. “Did you really think those were the source of my power?” Werner mocks, the All Bringers ignoring their condescending tone.
Werner’s radio suddenly buzzes to life, Azalo-T’s voice coming over the line to inform Werner of leaving every nearby Galaxy. Werner decides against it, planning to take out one of the All Bringers with Azalo-T’s suicide bomb. Werner morphs his Cleaver into a javelin, chucking it at the All Bringer of Souls to stall him as Werner takes the All Bringer of Reality directly. Werner gets the first strike off, the All Bringer of Reality attempting only to interrupt Werner’s combo due to defense being useless. The failed attempts pile up, Werner finishing their combo with the move everybody’s been looking for. I mean cmon, THEY’VE DONE THIS FUCKING MOVE SO MUCH, LIKE HOLY SHIT. Anyway, Werner fakes a left hook for a right, sending the All Bringer of Reality flying into the All Bringer of Souls. With Werner’s auto-tracking javelin, it pierces both of them momentarily.
The All Bringer of Reality erases the javelin as the All Bringer of Souls heals them both. Soon enough, a last resort comes to mind. “I'm gonna use the ten torrents.” The All Bringer of Reality informs. The All Bringer of Souls attempts to protest, but he knows this is something required of them both, infusing his mana into the All Bringer of Reality to ensure Werner is incapable of dodging this.
A powerful shock rips through the air with the announcement: First Torrent, Tornado hook kick. Werner shrugs, blocking the strike easily, though not knowing defense is useless. Second Torrent, diving axe kick. Werner disregards it again, throwing a counter to temporarily shatter the All Bringer’s defense. The All Bringer of Reality endures the heavy blow, spitting blood before going for the third torrent: spinning outer crescent kick. Werner blocks again, continuing to disregard the severity of the ten torrents as they continue to attempt to break the All Bringer’s durability. Though, for once, Werner’s strikes were lacking. Fourth torrent, spinning inner crescent kick. Werner redirects the All Bringer's strike, breaking his leg, though the kick still made contact. The All Bringer of Souls heals the other All Bringer, just in time for the fifth, sixth, and seventh torrent: uppercut, headbutt, dropkick. Werner tanks the uppercut, disabling the All Bringer's other arm without expecting the headbutt. As Werner is briefly stunned, the All Bringer of Reality goes for the dropkick, sending Werner back far enough for a slight period of rest. Werner quickly recovers, getting slightly pissed off and rushing the All Bringer of Reality down. Eighth torrent: leg sweep. The attack traces in the dark for the All Bringer, who executes it perfectly. The All Bringer wastes no time, unleashing the ninth torrent: upward mule kick.
The All Bringer drops to a handstand, kicking Werner straight up for the finale. The All Bringer of Reality flies directly after Werner, charging the tenth torrent: Twinpalm heel strike. The strike rings through the air as Werner is blown off into a thick cloud of dust, and with a ring of galactic energy. It was done. The All Bringer walks away from the cloud, collapsing against the All Bringer of Souls. “But at that moment.” The High Observer’s voice rang from nearby. Both All Bringers snapped towards the location of the sound. “THE HIGH OBSERVER?!” The All Bringer of Souls yelled out, clearly distraught. “At that moment, Werner became the first mortal being in all of creation to directly survive all ten torrents at once.” The High Observer stated, disappearing through a temporal rift the next second. The smoke around cleared, revealing Werner looking as usual. “You people seriously need to understand. I DON'T FOLLOW YOUR RULES!” Werner roars out, charging at both All Bringers.
The All Bringer of Souls summons a great number of trapped husks to stall Werner, opening a portal back to the MCC. Werner catches the portal just before it closes, prying it back open to follow them.
Every person inside the MCC headquarters senses the sudden uproar of energy in the building; they know Werner was here and likely pissed off. The Disturbed God rises from his throne (which looks like shit, I'm not gonna lie) to confront Werner himself.
They both come face to face, two beings of raw power. And unbridled malice. Such similarities, such hope in both. Yet a battle had to ensue.
“Isn't it my greatest follower? Welcome back.” The Disturbed God attempts to mock, his words bouncing right off Werner. “Do we give some long-ass speech about how long this battle has to come, or just get it over with? Quite frankly, I'm tired of hearing your voice.” Werner bites back, summoning his cleaver and letting it slam into the ground.
“Then let it begin.”
Werner mense iudicii
The Disturbed God goes to write in the Chimera, his movement transcending usual dimensions that operate in time. Though Werner was far past that, he grabbed the Disturbed God’s hand and tore it clean off. The Disturbed God swiftly pushed Werner away with modified ten torrents, using reality manipulation to decimate the dimension they stood in. Werner ripped through the shattering reality, grabbed the Disturbed God, and drove a heavy jab into him. For the first time in its entire life, the Disturbed God began to bleed. From a mortal's attack as well. Werner drags the Disturbed God through multiple dimensions, laying complete waste to the multiverses they encounter. The Disturbed Deity tries to stop Werner’s next rushdown, its form reduced to a sparkling mist as Werner makes contact. “OUT OF MY WAY! THIS IS A BATTLE BETWEEN TWO OF THE MULTIVERSE'S GREATEST, AND IT WILL NOT BE INTERRUPTED!” Werner roars, teleporting behind the Disturbed God. They swing once, the Disturbed God laying down a veil holding thousands of dimensions. To anyone else, it was completely indestructible… But you already know.
Werner’s punch shatters the veil, reducing it to atoms as they drive through. The Disturbed God meets Werner’s strike with a nullification spell, sending them both back, with the impact reforming the empty dimension they once stood in. The Disturbed God summons the Chimera, writing out Werner’s loss before the Warlord can regain their bearings. The Disturbed God knew he had won at that moment; no being could break past the Chimera. But something was different. Strings and chains bound Werner’s limbs, trying to hold them in place where the Chimera was instructed to. Werner used their raw strength to tear out the restraints, making them the first being in all of creation to forcefully go against the Chimera and the Disturbed God.
“I REFUSE YOUR WORD, USURPER! IT WAS YOU ALL ALONG; YOU MADE THIS HAPPEN FROM THE BEGINNING. YOU KILLED MY FAMILY! I'M GOING TO TEAR YOU DOWN TO NOTHING. YOU WILL FUCKING DIE!” Werner yelled out; they were truly pissed this time around. With Werner’s arm instantaneously piercing straight through the Disturbed God, all his magic, abilities, and the Chimera were stripped from his form. Werner threw the Disturbed God’s mortal body against a broken meteor, landing nearby to stand over the former God. “Well, I guess you finally win. I should’ve seen this coming, since you weren't present on the Chimera. I'm honestly impressed. Before you fix everything, any parting words?” The Disturbed God asked sincerely, finally accepting his defeat.
Werner thought for only a moment, summoning his Cleaver and winding up for one last slash.
“Sayonara,” Werner spoke in a heavy tone, decapitating the Disturbed God just a second after. With the Disturbed God's death, Werner returns to the 7 main universes, holding up the last bit of life force they tore out of the Disturbed God's form. With one grip from Werner’s hand, the orb was broken, and the universe was reset.
After an endless amount of time, Werner had won.
An end's beginning
Azalo-E appears behind Werner as they go to rest.
“You finally did it,” Azalo-E affirms, sitting next to Werner. “Just to confirm, this wouldn't be the first time I've had this conversation with you. But why? I mean, you had everything: a cult following, some amount of fun in your actions… Ones you could’ve called family.” Azalo-E lists, soon being cut off.
“I didn't have freedom; neither did they,” Werner points out, shifting to face away from Azalo-E.
“So thats why. Freedom. Mortal term, no doubt.” Azalo-E says jokingly.
“You are aware I can just kill you right now. Right? Or are you just another arrogant thing I have to kill?” Werner threatens.
Azalo-E shakes her head slightly, sighing softly. “Thats why I'm here. Your job isn't finished until you’ve killed them all. The reset only killed most of the gods; credit the ones that are alive you have better relations with. But a job isn't done until 100% is achieved. So go on, Werner, finish it. There's always a sacrifice to be made.” She rants, leaving her body open for Werner to freely strike.
She continues to hold her stance, Werner not moving an inch as she does. “Can you not? I'm done here. I'm tired. I already finished my job here, so go do yours.” Werner pouts slightly, pushing her away.
“I didn't expect that from you, but I won't bug you about it. Well, the age-old question now has to be answered. Do you think what you did was worth it?” Azalo-E asks.
Werner sat still, the question being a weight they couldn't just brush off. With his thought came the reformation of the 7 universes, ending at his answer.
“No.” They answered, Azalo-E disappearing at their response.
Werner finally began to weep. Continuing till the first echoes of life stretched across the cosmos.
