The Azerbaijan Alligators were founded in 2024 by a group of passionate young men from Carroll College in Broulee, Australia. This group of friends, all soccer enthusiasts, came together with the shared vision of forming a competitive youth team to represent their school and community. The Alligators quickly established themselves in the EFA Summer Soccer League, competing in the Under 15's division. The team has gained a reputation for their strong teamwork and relentless energy.

The 2024/25 season marked the Alligators’ highly anticipated debut in the league, and it proved to be an unforgettable campaign that immediately put the club on the map. From the first match, the team displayed a level of cohesion and determination that belied their inexperience, quickly earning a reputation as a competitive force. Week after week, the Alligators impressed with their fluid attacking play, disciplined defense, and ability to adapt to the challenges posed by more established teams. Their efforts culminated in a remarkable run up the ladder, finishing the season in second place — an extraordinary achievement for a brand-new side competing against well-established clubs. One of the defining moments of the season came when the Alligators faced the previously undefeated Snotrockets, a team that had dominated the league with a combination of skill, pace, and tactical discipline. In a tense and highly charged match, the Alligators executed their game plan to perfection, combining solid defensive structure with precise attacking movement to secure a famous 2-0 victory. This win not only ended the Snotrockets’ unbeaten streak but also became a defining moment for the club, igniting celebrations across Carroll College and the local community. The triumph showcased the Alligators’ potential and resilience, proving that the team could compete with the very best and instilling a sense of pride and belief that has carried through every training session and match since. The debut season firmly established the Azerbaijan Alligators as more than just a new team — it positioned them as a rising force in the league, celebrated for their teamwork, determination, and ability to create unforgettable moments on the field.

Beyond their competitive achievements, the Alligators have made a strong impact on the community and the culture surrounding the team. They have built meaningful connections with local supporters, families, and friends, who regularly attend matches and engage with the team on social media. The club’s partnership with sponsors like TLC Constructions has allowed the team to access quality equipment and resources, enhancing both training and match-day performance. Off the field, the Alligators are committed to fostering sportsmanship, discipline, and personal growth among their players, running team events, training sessions, and community initiatives that encourage young athletes to develop their skills and confidence. These efforts have helped the Alligators cultivate a supportive and inclusive environment, reinforcing the club’s reputation not just as a talented football team, but as a positive force for the local community and a model for aspiring athletes in Broulee and beyond.

Our jersey is proudly inspired by the colors and symbols of the Azerbaijan flag, reflecting our team’s deep respect for the nation. The design features bold blue, red, and green stripes, each representing a significant aspect of Azerbaijan's rich history and culture. The blue symbolizes the Turkic heritage, red represents progress and modernization, while green signifies Islam, which plays a central role in the nation's identity.

At the heart of our jersey is the iconic star and crescent, a powerful tribute to Azerbaijan. This emblem, positioned proudly on the chest, signifies unity, strength, and faith, echoing the values we strive to embody both on and off the field. By incorporating these elements, the Azerbaijan Alligators jersey not only showcases our team’s competitive spirit but also serves as a nod to a country that symbolizes resilience and pride, aligning with our goal to represent these qualities in every game.

The Azerbaijan Alligators are a committed and highly skilled team of nine players, each contributing their own strengths, energy, and identity to the side. Leading from the front is Logan Hall, our captain and ultimate all-rounder, whose leadership, communication, and tactical understanding set the standard for the team. Logan’s versatility allows him to adapt to any position on the pitch, commanding respect through both his determination and his consistency under pressure.

Noah Maher plays a crucial role as our main striker, known for his instinctive movement, precise finishing, and ability to deliver in the biggest moments. His sharp eye for goal and composure in one-on-one situations make him a constant threat to any opposition defense.

Out wide, Blade Hall brings creativity and flair to the left wing. Nicknamed the “Curve Merchant,” Blade is renowned for his technique and ability to curl the ball into dangerous areas with precision. At the back, Murray Lyons and Oscar Bates anchor the defense with strength and authority. Murray’s fearless tackling and physical presence give the back line an edge, while Oscar’s excellent reading of the game and calmness under pressure have earned him the title of “The Brick Wall.” Covering the right side of defense, Cooper Smith, the team Jew, combines discipline and determination, using his pace to shut down attackers and transition play effectively.

Providing balance and versatility across the pitch are Austin Enright, Mitch Love, and Leo Halliday, three dependable all-rounders who can slot into any position and perform at a high level. Austin’s football IQ and control in tight spaces make him a valuable playmaker, while Mitch brings relentless energy, quick reactions, and creativity in both attack and defense. Leo rounds out the trio with composure, smart decision-making, and technical skill, often acting as the link between midfield and attack.

Overseeing it all is Coach Rhory Jones, whose tactical expertise, motivation, and understanding of each player’s strengths have been vital to the team’s success. Rhory’s focus on discipline, teamwork, and player development has helped the Alligators evolve into a confident and cohesive unit capable of competing with the best.
