This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is handled in AySay Expiry Tracker ("the App").

1. Data Collection and Storage

AySay Expiry Tracker is designed with your privacy in mind. We do not require you to create an account, and we do not collect, store, or process any of your personal data on our servers.

All data you enter into the App—including items, categories, expiry dates, quantities, and notes—is stored locally on your device. You have full control over your data.

Important: Because all data is stored exclusively on your device, if you delete the app from your device, all your data will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.

2. Export and Import

The App provides a feature to export and import your data via CSV. This process happens entirely on your device. We do not receive, intercept, or store any of the exported files or data at any point. We recommend regularly exporting your data as a backup in case you lose your device or accidentally delete the App.

3. Notifications

The App requires permission to send you push notifications to remind you of expiring items. These notifications are scheduled and triggered locally on your device. We do not use remote servers to send these notifications, nor do we track your interaction with them.

4. Third-Party Services

The App does not use third-party analytics, tracking, or advertising services that actively collect your personal data.

5. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. These changes are effective immediately after they are posted.
