Research Areas:
Modelling and optimization of energy systems (renewable energies, energy storage, spatiotemporal complementarity) in the current and future climate impacted by climate change scenarios (CMIP5-RCP).
Implementation of multi-criteria decision-making techniques, particularly the Analytic Hierarchy Process, in various contexts (e.g., evaluating hydrogen production technologies, water management strategies, cybersecurity measures in microgrids, management strategies for extreme climate events, and identifying suitable areas for renewable energy implementation).
Analysis of areas vulnerable to climate change (CMIP5-RCP, CMIP6-SSP) and proposals for energy solutions to mitigate and adapt to these changes.
Implementation of life cycle assessment and cost techniques to evaluate the environmental impact and economic viability of hydrogen technologies.
