Ayah Almousa
I am a Bridge to Faculty Fellow at the University of South Carolina. My research lies at the intersection of algebraic combinatorics and commutative algebra.
From 2021 to 2024, I was a postdoc in the School of Mathematics at the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities, mentored by Christine Berkesch and Vic Reiner.
I received my PhD in Mathematics at Cornell University under the direction of Irena Peeva in 2021. Before that, I received my B.S. in Physics and Mathematics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
I spent the first seven months of 2019 visiting the University of Bergen in Norway working with Gunnar Fløystad. Many of the pictures on my website were taken during that time.
