The first person I saw during my journey through the abyssal wasteland. He found this material through a mound in a completely different land than I expected, seems this weird resource is quite expansive. He said he knew what it was called, an infectious material called "Sculk" that feeds on souls or essence of living beings, usually killing them to obtain such. Guess we were an exception. He told me he was a scientist and he tried to research it, but scientific curiosity got the best of him and he touched the glowing spot, pulling him in. He estimates this was about 4 months ago, but I am confused as to how he has more advanced technology than I knew of, if he ended up here before I did.

I assume it might be a being transcending time and space, but that's just a theory. -Gavin Longhorn
