Axios’ root meaning is “balancing the scales.” In ancient times, this was a literal scale that weighed one item and it found the corresponding standard on the opposite side. Axios became known as a method of evaluating value. 

In the biblical context, Axios focuses on what kind of life you live in response to your relationship with Christ. It describes the character you develop as a result of being saved. God has called us to build and display a Christ-like character every day.
