Welcome!

I work as an Assistant Professor of Finance at the University of Quebec in Montreal, School of Management (ESG UQÀM), where I teach Finance to undergraduate students.

I conduct empirical research in banking and corporate finance. I am especially interested in financial inclusion and access to credit for both firms and households. 

I enjoy connecting finance with current social issues. In particular, my research examines how factors such as trust, gender norms, culture, age and geopolitical risks affect financial outcomes, and how financial decisions themselves can contribute to equality or support a more sustainable economy. 

I am reviewer for several scientific journals.
