Connecting wildlife hospital practitioners to improve care, share knowledge, and to strengthen outcomes for wildlife and those who care for them.
1. To foster the education and sharing of knowledge between veterinarians, nurses and other
professionals interested in the management of wildlife in wildlife hospitals.
2. To strengthen the contribution of veterinary science to the health, conservation and welfare
of wildlife during treatment, rehabilitation and following release.
3. To highlight and contribute to the value of relationships between wildlife health
professionals, volunteers and institutions.
4. To encourage collaboration between wildlife health professionals, governmental agencies
and other stakeholders about the importance of wildlife hospitals and the services they
provide.
