Your privacy is important. Away is designed to collect as little information as possible. This Privacy Policy explains what information is processed, how it is used, and the choices available to you.
Away does not require you to create an account.
Away does not collect your name, email address, phone number, precise location, contacts, or other directly identifying personal information.
Your session history, statistics, goals, streaks, personal bests, reminder settings, and app preferences are stored locally on your device.
Away does not operate its own user database or server for storing this information.
Away offers an optional yearly auto-renewable subscription called Away Pro.
All purchases, free trials, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are processed by Apple through the App Store using Apple’s StoreKit services.
The developer does not receive or store your payment card details, billing credentials, or Apple Account password.
Away may access purchase status information provided by Apple to determine whether premium features should be available on your device. This may include information such as:
whether a subscription is active;
the subscription product purchased;
the purchase or renewal date;
the subscription expiration date;
trial or introductory-offer eligibility;
transaction identifiers provided by Apple.
This information is used only to provide, restore, and manage access to Away Pro.
You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple Account subscription settings. Unless cancelled, the subscription automatically renews according to the terms displayed by Apple at the time of purchase. Apple provides the infrastructure for processing and managing auto-renewable subscriptions.

Away may store the following information locally on your device:
session history;
recovered time;
daily and lifetime statistics;
goals;
streaks;
personal bests;
app preferences;
reminder settings;
widget configuration;
subscription access status supplied by Apple.
This information is not transmitted to the developer.
Deleting Away from your device will generally delete locally stored app data, subject to any information retained separately by Apple as part of your App Store purchase history.
Away does not use third-party analytics services.
Away does not use third-party advertising services.
Away does not track your activity across other companies’ apps or websites.
Away does not use advertising identifiers and does not display advertisements.
Away may access motion-related information made available by iOS to support functionality during an active session.
Motion information is processed on your device and is used only to provide app functionality.
Away does not transmit motion information to the developer or share it with third parties.
If you enable notifications, Away may schedule local notifications related to reminders, sessions, or app usage.
Notification scheduling is handled on your device.
You can change or disable notification permissions at any time in the iOS Settings app.
Away does not sell, rent, or share your personal information with advertisers, data brokers, or marketing companies.
Away does not transmit your locally stored session data or statistics to the developer.
Apple processes information related to App Store purchases, subscriptions, billing, refunds, and account management under Apple’s own terms and privacy practices.
Away is not specifically directed to children under the age of 13.
Away does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If you believe that a child has provided personal information through Away, please contact the developer using the details below.
Depending on your country or region, you may have rights under applicable privacy laws, including rights relating to access, deletion, correction, restriction, or objection to certain processing of personal information.
Because Away stores app activity data locally on your device, you can remove that data by deleting the app.
Information relating to your Apple Account, App Store purchases, or subscription history is controlled by Apple and must be managed through Apple’s services.
Away minimizes the collection and transmission of information and stores app activity data locally on your device.
However, no method of electronic storage or processing can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and Apple Account.
