I am a Research Scholar (Prime Minister's Research Fellow (PMRF)) at the Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. Currently I am working on Refractory high-entropy alloys for Articulating Surfaces in Total Joint Arthroplasty, under the joint guidance of Prof. Mangal Roy and Prof. Sankha Mukherjee. I have completed my M. Tech from the Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, IIT Kharagpur in the year 2019. During my M. Tech I have worked on Microstructure, Corrosion and Mechanical Behavior of 15-5 PH Stainless Steel Processed by Direct Metal Laser Sintering under the guidance of Prof. Indrani Sen. Before that I completed my B. Tech from the Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, RGUKT, RK Valley in the year 2017.
Research Interest: Metallic Biomaterials, Refractory High Entropy Alloys Fabrication & Properties, Density Functional Theory, Molecular Dynamics simulation, Microstructure & Mechanical Properties of Metals, Mechanical Behavior of Metals, Corrosion of Metals.
