If you want powerful, all-in-one noise cancellation with a complete package for gaming and sleep, choose Avoxins Ear Plugs; if you need specialized extra-small replacement tips to fix the fit of your existing earbuds, choose Mijusun Ultra-Soft Silicone Extra.
These two products often get confused because both involve silicone and ear protection, but they serve completely different purposes in your audio setup. One is a standalone device designed to block out the world, while the other is an accessory meant to improve the performance of headphones you already own. Understanding this distinction is critical before you spend money on mobile gaming gear or anything else that requires focus.
• Avoxins Ear Plugs: Offers a massive 33dB noise reduction rating with a full kit of 9 tips for a perfect seal, making it the best choice for total silence; however, it is a single-use dedicated tool rather than a headphone component.
• Mijusun Ultra-Soft Silicone Extra: Provides a custom, irritation-free fit specifically for petite ears using fine mesh durability, ideal for upgrading comfort on existing buds; its trade-off is that it does not come as a standalone device and offers no active noise filtering of its own.
• Who should buy which: Choose Avoxins if you need to shut out snoring or construction noise for deep focus during gaming sessions; choose Mijusun if your current earbuds hurt your small ear canals or fall out during intense mobile gaming matches.
The Avoxins Ear Plugs are engineered as a comprehensive solution for anyone needing to create a quiet environment from scratch. They are not merely plugs; they are acoustic isolation tools that use precision-engineered design to reduce unwanted noise by up to 33dB. This level of attenuation is significant enough to handle disruptive low-frequency sounds like airplane engines, heavy traffic, or loud neighbors, creating a calm space even in chaotic environments. For a mobile gamer looking to immerse themselves fully without external distractions, this level of passive noise control is essential.
What sets these apart is the sheer variety included in the box. The package comes with nine pairs of ear tips across four distinct sizes (XS, S, M, L), plus one pair of double-layered M-size tips. This extensive selection ensures that users can find a twist-lock ergonomic fit that seals perfectly, regardless of their ear canal shape. The silicone is described as ultra-soft and skin-friendly, designed to minimize pressure points so you can wear them for extended periods. Whether you are sleeping on your side, working in an open office, or trying to concentrate on a complex game strategy, the design aims to stay secure and comfortable throughout the day.
They are also built with hearing health in mind, utilizing frequency-filtering technology that dampens harmful low-frequency noise while allowing mid-to-high frequencies like voices and alarms to remain clear. This balance prevents the "muffled" feeling some earplugs cause, letting you stay aware of your surroundings while protecting your hearing. The set includes a compact carrying case and features a stylish water-drop accessory, making it easy to transport. If your goal is to have a reliable, reusable, and eco-friendly method to block out the world for sleep, travel, or focused work sessions, this product is designed specifically for that role.

The Mijusun Ultra-Soft Silicone Extra serves a very specific niche: it is a replacement part, not a standalone audio device. These are earbud tips designed to replace the ones that come with your existing true wireless or wired earbuds. Their primary function is to solve the common problem of ill-fitting accessories that cause pain or fall out. Made from extremely soft silicone, these tips are explicitly targeted at users with petite ears who struggle with standard-sized tips. If you have ever felt that your earbuds are too large or uncomfortable after just a short period of use, these tips offer a gentle, irritation-free alternative that adapts closely to the ear canal.
Durability is a key feature here, thanks to a fine mesh screen installed inside each tip. This mesh prevents debris buildup while maintaining sound clarity, ensuring that the audio quality of your earbuds isn't compromised by the material itself. The tips come in three sizes—XS, S, and M—with a height of 7mm and an inner diameter of 4.0mm, fitting nozzles between 4.0mm and 6.0mm. This universal compatibility means they work with most brands of earphones, acting as a cost-effective upgrade to your current gear. For mobile gamers who need their earbuds to stay locked in place during fast-paced action, the secure, noise-isolating fit provided by these tips can be a game-changer.
However, it is important to understand what these do not do. They do not provide independent noise cancellation; they rely entirely on the drivers of the earbuds they are attached to. They are essentially an accessory to enhance the performance of your current hardware. The packaging contains three pairs of tips (one of each size), which makes them excellent spare parts to keep handy if your original tips get lost or damaged. If you already own high-quality earbuds that simply don't fit your ears right, or if you suffer from "silicone pain," this product is the targeted solution to extend the life and comfort of your listening experience.
• Best for Total Noise Isolation: Avoxins Ear Plugs win decisively with their 33dB reduction rating, whereas Mijusun relies on your existing earbuds' isolation capabilities.
• Best for Petite Ears: Mijusun is the clear winner for those who cannot tolerate standard-sized tips, offering an XS option specifically for smaller canals.
• Best for Mobile Gaming Immersion: Avoxins provides a more immersive experience by actively blocking out external environmental noise, crucial for competitive play.
• Best Value for Upgrading Gear: Mijusun is the better choice if you already own good earbuds and just need to fix the fit without buying a whole new device.
• Best for Versatility: Avoxins works for sleep, travel, concerts, and work, while Mijusun is strictly for enhancing your current earbud usage.
• Best for Long-Term Comfort: Both use ultra-soft silicone, but Avoxins includes 9 pairs of tips to ensure a long-lasting perfect seal, while Mijusun offers 3 pairs.
• Best for Durability Features: Mijusun includes a fine mesh screen to prevent debris, a feature not highlighted in the Avoxins specifications.
• Best for Portability: Avoxins comes with a dedicated carrying case, making it ready for immediate travel use without additional accessories.
In my opinion, if I were setting up a rig for serious mobile gaming where focus is paramount, I would choose the Avoxins Ear Plugs. The ability to block out 33dB of ambient noise creates a private studio environment that allows for deeper concentration, which is far more valuable than just having a slightly better fit on generic earbuds. The inclusion of multiple tip sizes and a carrying case makes it a complete, ready-to-go solution for any situation. However, if you already own expensive earbuds that hurt your ears or fall out, the Mijusun Ultra-Soft Silicone Extra is the smarter financial move to save your current gear. But for the pure experience of shutting out the world to play, the Avoxins stand-alone design is the superior choice.
No, the Avoxins Ear Plugs are standalone devices designed to be inserted directly into the ear canal. They do not attach to headsets or microphones. You would use them independently to block noise, potentially while wearing separate gaming headphones or using the earbuds from your phone.
Yes, the Mijusin tips are universal replacements designed for most brands of earphones with nozzles between 4.0mm and 6.0mm. They are compatible with both wired and wireless earbuds, provided the nozzle size matches the 4.0mm inner diameter specification.
No, the Avoxins Ear Plugs are passive noise-cancelling devices made from durable silicone. They require no power source, batteries, or charging, making them a sustainable and always-ready option for travel or sleep.
The Avoxins Ear Plugs are designed specifically for high-level noise reduction up to 33dB, making them significantly more effective at blocking out loud environmental sounds like construction or snoring compared to the passive isolation of standard earbud tips found in the Mijusun set.
