Adam von Haden

Terrestrial ecosystem biogeochemistry

Welcome

I am a scientist working in Randy Jackson's lab at the University of Wisconsin - Madison. I am broadly interested in nutrient cycling in natural and agricultural terrestrial ecosystems with an emphasis on climate change impacts. Most of my work focuses on understanding the plant and soil processes that control organic carbon storage in agroecosystems. I am currently helping to evaluate the environmental sustainability of dairy crop systems as part of the multi-institution Dairy Soil & Water Regeneration Project and evaluating long-term changes in soil organic carbon as part of the SOCnet project. Please head over to my research page for a more detailed description of past and present projects.
