Welcome! I am an economist and legal scholar. I broadly have two research agendas. One strand studies interactions between low-income families and the legal system. A second strand studies tax enforcement, often using administrative IRS data.
I am the incoming Wachtell Fellow in Law and Economics at the University of Chicago Law School. I am also a non-resident Research Lead at the Rhode Center at Stanford Law School.Â
From 2022-25, I was a postdoctoral fellow at Stanford's RegLab, advised by Jacob Goldin and Daniel E. Ho. I received a Ph.D. in economics from Cornell University and a Master of Legal Studies from the University of Chicago Law School.
