AVHS Counseling

Welcome! Below is our upcoming news in the counseling office!

Upcoming Events:

In December we will be having "Stress-Less" workshops for all students in the Annex during ACCESS.

Come join students and counselors at lunch every Monday for LunchBunch! Meet new students!

**If a student would like to change one of their classes next semester they can come to their counselor and pick up a schedule change form on December 13th. They can turn in the signed form on Friday, December 14th. Last day to turn in changes will be January 17th.**

Any change requested is made on a space available basis, with consideration to discrepancy in class sizes. Final decisions for schedule change requests are made by administration with input from counselors and teachers. All requests require parent/guardian approval. If space is available and a change can be accommodated during the Primary Request period, the grade WILL NOT transfer with the student to the new class. For a change made beyond the Primary Request deadline, the grade WILL transfer with the student to the new class. Teacher change requests will not be considered.
