I hold a Ph.D. in Economics (2024) from the Department of Economics at the University of Thessaly, Greece. My doctoral dissertation, “Comparative Analysis of National Innovation Systems: Modelling and Policies”, was funded by the Hellenic Foundation for Research and Innovation (H.F.R.I.). I also hold a BSc in Economics, a MSc in Applied Economics, and a MSc in New Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Development from the University of Thessaly.

My research focuses on the economics of innovation, national innovation systems, applied economics, evolutionary economics, and system dynamics. 

I have teaching experience at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels in entrepreneurship, business strategy, and technology strategy.

My research has been published in international peer-reviewed journals including Small Business Economics, International Review of Financial Analysis, Journal of Evolutionary Economics, International Journal of Finance & Economics, Abacus, Energy, and The Journal of International Trade & Economic Development. I have also presented more than 30 papers at international academic conferences.

My work has been cited in publications by the World Bank and the Bank for International Settlements (BIS). I have participated in research projects related to innovation, entrepreneurship, and university–industry linkages, and I serve as an ad hoc reviewer for international journals including Applied Economics, Computational Economics, and Small Business Economics.
