Course description: This course introduces the study of patterns and processes that have shape the development of the Earth’s surface. Students use spatial concepts and landscape analysis to examine the socioeconomic organization of the planet. Geography tools are utilized to research and analyze the physical environment and human culture. The curriculum reflects the goals of the National Geography Standards and the College Board Human Geography course.
