Dr. Avelino Dos Santos Da Costa's research centers on unraveling the mechanisms of collective cell migration, aiming to identify novel migration patterns among stromal cells. His work extends to the development of advanced endothelial basement membranes, facilitating the creation of in vitro models for studying the development of atherosclerosis disease. Additionally, his current investigations focus on the complex processes underlying vascular aging.
