Effective date: 21 October 2026
Auvy is an Android app for mixing music with ambient nature sounds. This policy explains how Auvy handles information when you use the app and how to contact us about privacy.
Auvy does not require an account. The current app does not send personal information, listening activity, or device identifiers to us. It has no advertising, analytics, or third-party crash-reporting SDKs, and does not request internet access.
Auvy saves your selected scene, recent scenes, favorites, music preset, volume settings, and the title and file reference of music you select in private app storage on your device. These settings are used to restore your listening experience.
If you choose your own music, Android's file picker grants Auvy read access to the file you select. Auvy reads that file and its display name for playback; it does not scan your entire music library or upload the file. Access may be retained so you can play the file again. Selecting a built-in preset or a replacement file releases Auvy's access to the previous selection.
If you select a file from a cloud storage provider through Android's picker, that provider handles any download under its own privacy policy.
Auvy uses Android's foreground media playback service and wake lock functionality to continue playback and keep the screen awake while the app is playing in the foreground. Android may show the current track and scene in system media controls. Auvy does not request microphone, camera, contacts, or location access.
Local settings remain until you change them, clear Auvy's app storage in Android Settings, or uninstall the app. Clearing app storage or uninstalling removes Auvy's stored settings and file references; it does not delete your original music files. Auvy disables Android app backup for its private app data. There is no Auvy account or server-side listening profile to delete.
Auvy does not sell or share your personal data. Links to sound credits or other websites open external services, which have their own privacy practices. This policy page is hosted by Google Sites and is subject to Google's privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy.
If you email support, we receive your email address and anything you choose to include. We use that information to respond to your inquiry. You can ask us to delete your support correspondence by emailing the same address. Please do not send sensitive information or music files unless needed for your request.

We may update this policy as Auvy changes. The effective date above will identify the latest version. Any new data-handling practices will be described in the updated policy.
