Auto Skip Privacy Policy

Auto Skip is a Chrome extension by Imaginora Works. It automatically clicks YouTube's official Skip Ad button after the button becomes available.
Data Collection
Auto Skip does not collect, sell, share, transmit, or store personal data.
The extension does not collect:
- Personally identifiable information
- Health information
- Financial or payment information
- Authentication information
- Personal communications
- Location information
- Web history
- User activity
- Website content for storage or transfer
How The Extension Works
Auto Skip runs locally in the user's browser on YouTube pages. It checks whether YouTube is showing an ad and whether the official Skip Ad button is visible. When the button is available, the extension sends a local click action to that button.
Auto Skip does not block ads, hide countdowns, change how YouTube loads ads, inspect cookies, read passwords, or send page content to any server.
Permissions
Auto Skip uses the following Chrome extension permissions:
- activeTab: to check whether the current active tab is a YouTube page and show the extension status.
- storage: to save the user's on/off setting and click delay preference.
- debugger: to send a real mouse click to the visible official Skip Ad button on the current YouTube tab, then detach immediately after the click.
- YouTube host access: to detect the ad state and visible Skip Ad button on YouTube pages.
