Terms of Use for Authenticator (iOS) - Developer: Softcap

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Authenticator for iOS (referred to as "the App") developed by Softcap (referred to as "we" or "the developer"). By using the App, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree with any of these Terms, please refrain from using the App.
1. License and Restrictions
1.1 License Grant
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes on your iOS device.
1.2 Restrictions
You shall not:
a) Copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, or otherwise exploit the App or any part thereof;
b) Decompile, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract the source code of the App;
c) Remove, alter, or obscure any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices from the App or its content;
d) Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations or infringes upon the rights of others.
2. Intellectual Property
2.1 Ownership
The App and all related intellectual property rights, including but not limited to copyrights, trademarks, and trade secrets, are owned by Softcap. These Terms do not grant you any rights to use the developer's trademarks, logos, or other brand elements.
2.2 User Content
Any content you create or upload while using the App remains your intellectual property. By using the App, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and distribute your content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the App's services.
3. User Responsibilities
3.1 Account
You may need to create an account to use certain features of the App. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for any activity that occurs under your account.
3.2 Lawful Use
You agree to use the App in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and third-party rights. You shall not use the App to engage in any illegal, harmful, or unethical activities.
3.3 Data Backup
You acknowledge that you are solely responsible for creating backups of your data and files. We shall not be liable for any loss or corruption of your data stored within the App.
4. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any warranties or representations, express or implied. We disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and accuracy of information.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or in connection with the use or inability to use the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
6. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Softcap, its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents harmless from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or in connection with your use of the App, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.
7. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time and for any reason without prior notice. Upon termination, your license to use the App shall cease, and you must uninstall and delete all copies of the App from your device.
