TOGETHER WE REMEMBER 2026

EDUCATIONAL FIELD TRIP

On 25 April 2026, the Community for Southeast Asian Studies (CSEAS) organized an educational field trip to the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum as part of our Together We Remember 2026 observance. Through this meaningful visit, participants learned about the painful history of the Khmer Rouge regime and witnessed how a former school was transformed into a place of detention and interrogation. The preserved classrooms, prison cells, and photographs of victims reminded us of the importance of remembrance, justice, and humanity.

We sincerely thank everyone who joined us and participated in this reflective experience. Your presence, engagement, and thoughtful reflections helped make this visit deeply meaningful.

We would also like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum for supporting the Community for Southeast Asian Studies (CSEAS) and helping make this event run smoothly.

Special thanks to all CSEAS members whose dedication, teamwork, and hard work made this program shine successfully.

Wishing all participants continued learning, peace, strength, and compassion as we continue to remember together. 🤍
