Short Biography
Aulia Akhrian Syahidi received his Bachelor of Information Technology Education (S.Pd.) at STKIP PGRI Banjarmasin (now called Universitas PGRI Kalimantan), in 2016. He graduated from the Computer Science Masters Program (M.Kom.) at the Faculty of Computer Science, Universitas Brawijaya in 2019 with a concentration in Media, Game, and Mobile Technologies through a RISET (Research Intensification for Sustainable Education and Training) scholarship. During his master's program education, he also succeeded in obtaining a master's student scholarship through research from the Learning Engineering Laboratory (Hirashima Lab.), Graduate School of Advanced Science and Engineering, Hiroshima University, Japan for the Fall Semester (2018/2019) with a research focus on artificial intelligence in educational interactive media and educational data mining. He was a teacher at several vocational schools in 2015-2019, a teaching assistant in 2014-2016, and a research assistant in 2017-2019.
Currently, he serves as a lecturer in the Smart City Information Systems Study Program, Department of Electrical Engineering, Politeknik Negeri Banjarmasin. Aside from that, Akhrian is also a research assistant professor (partnership collaboration) at Cybernetics and Reality Engineering (CARE) Laboratory (Kiyokawa Lab.), Division of Information Science, Graduate School of Science and Technology, Nara Institute of Science and Technology (NAIST), Japan.
Research Interest: Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), Metaverse Technology, Interactive Media Technology, Game Development, Digital Image Processing, Computer Vision, Internet of Things, Smart City, Information System, Artificial Intelligence in Education, Educational Data Mining, Machine Learning, Learning Analytics, and Human-Computer Interaction (User Interface, User Experience, Usability Evaluation).

Alhamdulillah. I received an award as BEST PRESENTER in the 1st IEEE ICITCOM 2023 which was held by Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY) at the Cavinton Hotel Yogyakarta, Indonesia on November 29, 2023 to December 2, 2023.

Regularly meeting as a research assistant for Professor Kiyoshi Kiyokawa (NAIST, Japan), this time we also discuss preparation for advanced scientific publications and preparation for doctoral studies.
I managed to get an internship scholarship by Direktorat Jenderal Pendidikan Vokasi, KEMDIKBUDRISTEK and had the opportunity to explore knowledge and skills at PT. Metaverse Indonesia Makmur by WIR Group in South Jakarta for AR & VR Research and Development from September 1, 2023 to September 30, 2023.
I succeeded in winning the award as 3rd Rank Productive Researcher at Politeknik Negeri Banjarmasin in 2023 based on Decree 009/PL18.8/AL.04/2023 dated May 24, 2023.
