Webfonts can be used on a single domain. Agencies responsible for multiple websites, for example web design agencies or hosting providers, may not share a single webfont license across multiple websites.

Every time the webpage using the webfont kit is loaded (i.e, the webfont kit CSS which holds the @font-face rule is called) the counting system counts a single pageview for each webfont within the webfont kit.

I do have the "Lobster" font in the Typography library (same as the others I tried using), but it always changes to this boring looking font and I can't say why. Hope someone will be able to solve it

thank you both very much for the help. I'm not sure why, but it seems like adding a custom font simply doesn't work for me. I tried a couple of times with different tutorials, and I think it is related to what I see in the screenshot (here I also tried a different font, exactly like the one that was used in the tutorial).

Also, after I type in the code exactly like I should, the font changes to a boring looking font, although when I inspect the page I see that the font family is: font-family: Audiowide-Regular!important; (like in the tutorial)... same happens when I'm trying it with other headers/text

You can import any font style from any Expo Google Fonts package from it. It will load the fontsover the network at runtime instead of adding the asset as a file to your project, so it may take longerfor your app to get to interactivity at startup, but it is extremely convenientfor playing around with any style that you want.

You can use these fonts freely in your products & projects - print or digital, commercial or otherwise. However, you can't sell the fonts on their own. This isn't legal advice, please consider consulting a lawyer and see the full license for all details.

Of course, if you're just starting wrapping your head around fonts in Tumult Hype, start here. Keep reading if you have a font file (which you have rights to use on the web) and you need to use it offline, don't have access to it via Typekit or Google Fonts, and just wanna use it in your Hype document:

I have a custom English / Arabic font. I followed the guide and the font is embedded, when I enter English characters the text is using the custom font however when I enter Arabic characters some default font is used.

I have a font - Hanson Bold 700.otf - I have done the steps as in the description but on the preview or final version it is not ok. (this is the hype file - Custom Font.zip (57.5 KB)

and the font - Hanson Bold 700.otf.zip (24.2 KB))

Hello @Daniel, unfortunately, I have an issue with the export and the Sources view. Although I did it like you described I cannot see the files in the Sources folder - if I check the Hype file through View Package in Finder I can see the font files there. If I export the assets the font files are not included. I transformed it in Do you have any idea how to fix it?

It would be great if we could add any web-accessible font to our web maps, both in the new (former 'beta') map viewer and when styling vector tile maps. The current font selection is somewhat extensive in the number of choices, but many are too 'artsy' and not very practical (Atomic Age, Audiowide, Cabin Sketch, etc).

@RussRoberts - Is there a method/process for requesting new fonts to be added? I have a customer that is specifically looking for 'Roboto-Slab'. There are some variations of Roboto available, but not this specific font.

I follow the font requests through ideas and seeing demand for the font and then we will review the license for the fonts requested bc the deployment process for these fonts would be Online, deployed with Ent and then included in APIs and exported content sometimes the licensing does not fit within our deployment models.

I would create a specific idea for that font and I can get it flagged as under consideration. I find popping this through support the ENH request through support cannot be flagged as under consideration.

While any readable font could be considered sufficient, our university has only a handful of approved fonts that are supposed to be used for any and all university material. The campus maps our used tremendously by our students and visitors and are clearly the most popular maps in our AGOL. In fact we could divide these maps usage by 4 and these web maps would then be the top 4 web maps on our AGOL.

Branding is very important to the university and web maps need to carry the look and feel. Slab type fonts are aesthetically important especially Roboto Slab in this case. In fact, I do not see any slab type fonts available and so this would be a good starting point for slab type fonts.

So I went back to my Editor on my blog and searched for this code. Once you find it go back to your Google Fonts page and scroll all the way to the bottom. It will give you the font family code which is what you need to change. Mine looked like this:

This fonts are authors' property, and are either shareware, demo versions or public domain. The licence mentioned above the download button is just an indication. Please look at the readme-files in the archives or check the indicated author's website for details, and contact him if in doubt. If no author/licence is indicated that's because we don't have information, that doesn't mean it's free.

The best way to first verify if your fonts are going to work is to first if they have been successfully migrated to the each platform. For IOS, navigate to ios/{project}/Info.plist. Open the plist file and scroll to the bottom of the page. You should see the name of the font in a key called UIAppFonts. This is how mine looks like:

On Android this works slightly differently. We need to navigate to android/app/src/main/assets/fonts. Once in that folder you should be able to see all the fonts. If not it means something has gone wrong.

Using custom fonts in react can be really simple if done right but can also be a hassle if you don't dont do the right things in order. Download the font, extract it and move the fonts using are going to use into the root/assets/fonts in your project, create a react-native.config.js and paste in the snippet above and then run react-native link in your terminal or console.

The goals of the Open Font License (OFL) are to stimulate worldwide development of collaborative font projects, to support the font creation efforts of academic and linguistic communities, and to provide a free and open framework in which fonts may be shared and improved in partnership with others. 2351a5e196
