These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access and use of the AudioInk mobile application (“App”, “Service”), created by an individual independent developer (“we”, “us”, “our”). By downloading, installing or using AudioInk, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not accept these Terms, please do not use this App.
AudioInk provides on-device optical character recognition (OCR), text-to-speech conversion, multi-document import and local encrypted private vault storage. You do not need to create an account to use the App. All user-generated content is stored locally on your device by default.
You must be at least 13 years old to use AudioInk. If you are under 13, you may use the App only with parent or guardian consent and supervision.
All trademarks, logos, software code, UI design, built-in voice assets and intellectual property within AudioInk belong to the developer. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, distribute, resell or commercially exploit the App or its components without written permission. You retain ownership of all text, images, documents and audio files you create or import into the App.
You agree NOT to:
Use the App for illegal, harmful, infringing, defamatory, obscene or abusive content.
Scan or convert copyrighted materials without permission from the copyright owner.
Attempt to bypass premium subscription restrictions, hack or break the App’s security.
Use the service to generate audio for spam, fraud or malicious purposes.
Premium features are available via auto-renewable subscriptions processed through Apple App Store. All subscription charges are handled by Apple. Your subscription rights are subject to Apple’s Media Services Terms. See our separate Subscription Agreement for full details.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free service. We are not liable for any loss of local files, audio, text or scanned content caused by device failure, OS update, or user deletion.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the individual developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive damages arising from your use of AudioInk. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the total amount you paid to us via in-app purchases in the last 12 months.
We reserve the right to update, modify or discontinue the App or features at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. We may revise these Terms; continued use after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
